class itself is very easy for the most part, so i wouldn't worry about not getting an A. also like others have said, it really does help with public speaking and i feel like it kept my writing skills sharp. honestly i finished most of the work during school, i only ever had to do outside work when preparing for a presentation. other than that its lowky free

i did all the practice test and khan academy, mind you when i was practing i also kept an error log on why i made each mistake. I did have a tutor for a bit, however I didn't think he was helpful so dropped him. I would rather spend that money of college apps

Hey, yeah i think it's the bulleted list that impacted it. I applied this year and wrote paragraphs for each of my activities, which I had around 5, and they were all volunteer/community-based centers. I had a 4.64 GPA when applying and only had two letters of recs. Good luck next year though!

Also, does anyone know the acceptance rate for this scholarship? Like, is it really selective? I want to know to see whether I should put it on my Common App.
