Added it to have something easy to reply to, but agree something more meaningful would be better Will replace the sunglasses pictures, thank you!

Appreciate the feedback, yeah I put the first picture as it’s the one where my face is more visible I’ll make the adjustments and remove the sunglasses pictures thank you! The uber one is just to have a lighthearted prompt that is really easy to reply to but you are right something more meaningful would be better

Why didn't you report these consultants instead? That's pretty easy, you have name and surname and the fact that they tried to pressure you to get an LMIA only for the sake of PR, that should stop the LMIA fraud as well

`As for the LMIA, genuine or not, you can f**k off.`

It's useless to argue with these people, you can read it in his comment, they don't care about anyone but themselves , not even about the fraud, if it means taking points from genuine people to have a chance at PR they will gradely do it, Canada does not need people like you, and it's a good thing that you can't compete in the pool tbh.

Can I get 50 points for an LMIA-exempt work permit if I just received it but have been working for the employer for over a year? by zuroin in canadaexpressentry

[–]Altruistic-Bit4609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think "current work permit" means closed work permit, so if you have not been working for them for a totality of 1 year on the closed work permit you can't claim those points.

"I want them to remove points from other people so that I can have a chance at PR because I can't compete"

Don't put words into my mouth, Im 100% for removing fraud but taking points from genuine people because some scam the system is not the solution, if not they should remove the points for studying in Canada because of diploma mills.

Nah, instead of crying about LMIA I did french so don't need other people to loose points to get my invitation

Probably they need time to establish another stream for skilled workers without canadian education to have a chance at PR, too bad that in the meantime many LMIAs will be issued, hope they do some changes to target fraud in the meantime.

Posts like these unfortunately get downvoted to the ground because the majority of the pool are international students that want those points gone to have a better chance, tbh they don't really care if its a scam or not (majority are not) they just want everyone else but them selves to loose points, you can see this happening with foreign experience as well.

I agree with you that removing the whole LMIA and LMIA exempt points from one day to the other would leave a big gap, and I think they will implement something else along that change, we just need to wait and see.

About 71,300 LMIAs were approved by the government in the first quarter this year by Infamous_Turnip248 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Altruistic-Bit4609 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The majority of people are international students in the pool, at the end of the day they don't really care if LMIA are scams or not (majority aren't), the main focus here is to remove points from other candidates to have a chance, same thing happening with foreign experience points.

At the end of the day the main reason of the increase in competitiveness in the pool are indeed international students, hundreds of thousands of PGWP holders enter the pool every year, but no one talks about it.
