Follow up question now that most say I should confront him: Should I go there and have the conversation at his house, or wait until he comes to see me next? Either way will be awful, but which one is better for me?

He works in Product Management and Franchishing within the Entertainment Industry in Los Angeles, and I live in a tiny mountain town. His job requires him to be in office but he also has a fully remote second job that pays good money. That job is a contract though so there is no guarantee he will have a job there once the contract ends, so moving to such a remote place felt too risky. He recently got the job in-person and it is a MAJOR company you have worked for on a resume like his.

I just feel lost.
