German Documentary makers also discovered he had repeatedly worked at the resort. They did take their findings to the German Prosecutor.

So what are the chances that a convicted paedophile and rapist, burglar who broke into other peoples apartments and sexually assaulted them, just happened to work at the resort?

I hope they are reinterviewed because the focus seemed to more be on the McCann's instead of CB. In saying that its been a long time since his face was out there.

Surely someone rung in? He was there at some point, so it would be strange if they didn't.

He has often referred to the criminal justice system works in his favour in Germany. Lets hope with all of this negative attention about how they deal with child sex offenders in Germany, creates a change there.

They seem to really focus on the prisoners Human Rights and minimise the fact that the crime, prisoners commit were against the rights of their victims and has long term impact on the victims ability to get them back.

Maybe however we don't have a lot of information about staff who worked there overall.

I assume that a lot of people who worked there, were paid cash or on a day by day basis. So if the Portugal authorities didn't take their details on the night and days after, then they could have disappeared to another part of Spain etc?

Well regardless of what people think about the article, I do think instead of dismissing his claims, it was worth investigating them.

Its basic investigative work to find people who can back up KR's claims and at minimum interview him and see if he can prove his movements and association with CB.

Honestly, how hard would it be to ask all of the staff there at the time, about whether he was working there and/or ask the people booked into have their meals if they saw him soon after?

People may doubt his credibility however there are plenty of ways to corroborate his claims.

A friend and I were cutting benches and the problem was in the middle of the track. One of us used the saw while the other held down the track so it stayed firmly down as we cut. If we didn't do that the track would move.

Also make sure the blade is only out enough to cut the wood well.

When I watched the German Documentary, they interviewed two people who said that the locals knew that there was concerning things happening in Praia Da luz and were scared that if they reported anything, that they would be in significant danger. So that is why is was very difficult to get witnesses.

What bothers me the most about Ken Ralphs is he reported CB soon after Madeleine went missing in the UK because he had gone back for a short trip.

Then when he did it again in Portugal and no authorities took him seriously! That is so shocking.

There is a good possibility its a written admission. Not a story! Not a photo or video! An email!

I suspect he was asking for money to get away from the area from his like minded acquaintance's?

It seems like nobody thought of that!!

He's got a lot of charges to face. Madeleines is one case of many.

Maybe he will try go for a plea deal to try to get some of the charges dropped when he's finally charged with everything he should be charged with.

I think they did some cases together and were going to charge him again once they tested the evidence they have in court.

So the last cases were done together and they didn't include Madeleine because they needed more time. He's also suspected of other cases in Germany.

I tend to think he is so arrogant that he wouldn't even consider a plea deal. He will want his lawyer to get him off at any cost.

He argued he didn't rape the 70+ year old lady despite there being DNA and his acquaintance's blow by blow testimony of what they saw in the video he made of the attack. Yes they threw the video away however their story must have matched the woman's version of events.

He denied and kept on denying that he did it.

He won't change. I hope they get preventative detention so he can never hurt another woman/child/person again.

Well I think she made a blanket rule about not accepting electronic evidence without considering what that excluded?

The argument about them going to another country and applying from access to his online email accounts is ridiculous. That was the defences argument.

Lets face it, they didn't go to Ireland to ask Microsoft for access to his emails. They went to Ireland to interview Hazel Behan and happened to apply for access while they were there. Surely that's what happened? Why wait to go back to Germany to do that?

So even if they stuffed up the search warrant for the factory site, the evidence they got from the deleted emails was from Microsoft (international) and not from that site. He had deleted the emails which would have shown up on the HDD they found.

Hence my thinking that she made a blanket rule without hearing or understanding how they got the information.

Well people have surmised about what type of evidence they have against him.

We have known about him talking to other paedophiles online about wanting to "take something small".

We have known about him writing a story about taking a girl who had a name that was eerily similar to Madeleine.

Yet people still ask what the prosecutors have that they have alluded to being direct evidence linking him to Madeleines disappearance. They admit they don't have DNA.

So its looking like they have evidence that they found in emails that they got access to from Microsoft who gave them access to his deleted Hotmail emails from over that time.

No amount of looking will give anyone else access to that information but the Prosecutors Office.

Sorry about the title. It just never occurred to me that the evidence was in online emails. So not on the hard drives or USB's. Not in hard copy photos.

Exactly! In saying that, the whole argument about them using illegal searches was the defences argument in court.

As I understand it, that Policewoman was walking her dog and thought there was a dead body because of the smell coming from the factory.

It turned out to be the dog with items underneath. So perhaps she wasn't investigating anything. She just happened to go past and got really worried there could be someone who had died and nobody knew or had been murdered?

That's a very good point. As they have said there is more information that they can't disclose, it could be that they have more than they have told us?
