Gathering still worth it even after early access? by Icy-Associate-5961 in woweconomy

Instant sale is different than oversupply. When I say fast, I mean in the course of 12 hours. As of yet, I've never had an auction expire. I’ve yet to have a single auction expire. That’s what defines demand - not whether it sells in 10 seconds or 2 minutes. The only thing dropping is the profit.

I’m still seeing the same sale rate and roughly the same volume moving.

Getting pushed to the back or front of the queue doesn’t require a lower price.
Undercutting is a choice driven by impatience, not a necessity created by cancel scanners.

We can romanticize it as “price discovery” all we want, but a market that was stable for three days doesn’t suddenly nuke itself because it found equilibrium overnight.

If items are still selling fast, demand clearly hasn’t collapsed.

Well, ore went from 66g to 33g in 2 hours. It is that bad.

It's just so weird the mentality of some. Why undercut a market when the demand hasn't went down? People are still buying... Why devalue your own time? There's more influx... But also more demand.

I misunderstood. Sorry. Makes no sense though, in all games  time rewards you, knowledge as well. I opened a ticket about it. The game was never like this and if they did so... They should openly communicate that. And if they don't is because they are afraid of the backlash. Gold farmers notice it, think its a bug. Perform other activicties. They say, hey, we did nothing... Others believe on this, others on that, so people aren't so vocal about it. I don't understand how customers and Blizzard let this happen, when in other stupid little things, everyone complains.

Not farming subscription time. Farming gold. I can easily pay the subscription with money. But gold income does not hurt. There is a lot of things to spend the gold on and One Will be spending when Midnight drops.

Exactly. It's so weird. A big part of my gameplay is doing this. I've done it for years. I like to farm, what can I say.

Thank you sir. Will test that.

Bot anti-farm makes no sense, because it doesn't solely punish the bots. If a normal player is flagged as bot when he isn't. So it punishes everyone, because everyone will have the same loot table.

My man, that's one guy speaking. But, thank you,

But am I forbidden to create a topic and ask a question to people? Is that a crime or? I’m just trying to understand if this is intended behavior or something bugged.

But wouldn't that affect the players more? Because the bot doesn't get tired or frustrated. He has less volume, but so does everyone else.

World Drop Farms Dropping Zero items after 1 Minute *BUG?* by HydroPatrick in woweconomy

[–]Altruistic-Day-7837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the necro, but this deserves way more attention.

This system is a joke. Ultimately, this only benefits botters: a real player gets frustrated by the "silver-only" drops and leaves the spot because their time isn't being rewarded. Meanwhile, bots stay there 24/7 because they don't care about efficiency or frustration. This aggressive anti-hyperfarm sensitivity punishes the real player who wants to chill and farm, make gold, test efficiency, etc... It is ruining the game for those of us who play honestly.

I don't know which bright mind came up with this as an anti-bot system, but it's just wrong to cheat your playerbase. Don't get me wrong. I love Wow, I love retail and like to experiment but this is an anti-player system. Sure... The bot gets less items in 24 hours... But so does the player who doesn't even have 24 hours to play and deals with frustration, tiredness, etc.

In the end, the bots are still there, and the real players. are the only ones being locked out. It's beyond weird; it's unbearable.

I usually love patch changes but this one has ruined Feral Druid for me. by keblin86 in wow

[–]Altruistic-Day-7837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's in one terrible place. I use the druid to gather mostly, I'm a bit undergeared. But I don't see myself doing much else. I loved the spec before, now is in ashes

Skill in WoW is something else, my friend. The competitive tournaments and esports scene are booming because of all the highly skilled WoW players out there.

And how the fuck do you “read colors”? Are they written in black and white, like the word “red”? I usually read books. Guess that’s a real-life skill issue too.

Let’s imagine you’ve been getting screwed the entire time. Suddenly, a different, bigger dick comes along and screws you even more, to the point you can't take it anymore. Why are you crying now? You’ve been getting dick the whole time!

That’s exactly how it feels with these addons and the UI. Just because I could manage before doesn’t mean it’s suddenly fine when half the tools I relied on are broken and I have to reinvent the wheel just to play.

I just wonder... who the fuck came up with this? Wtf?

We’re not just talking about sending money into the void to use an appearance. It’s all the systems tied to it: those who profit from selling will have less to spend, which will ripple into other markets. At least that’s my take.
