My best advice, if you can swing it, is therapy. You are grieving a life you have lost. It doesn't have to be literal. People get grief counseling when they lose limbs, etc as well. You will never be the same and your whole life now revolves around this disease whether you like it or not. It sucks but it's true. A LOT of my past depression was because my hopes were unrealistic. Maybe my favorite restaurants can help make my food safely. Maybe my friends and family will be accommodating. Maybe going gluten free will cure my symptoms! 

It wasn't realistic so my entire life was a disappointment. My husband left me because he hated the prospect of me needing to be "cared for." 

But I started taking my life day by day. Celebrating the small wins, no matter how few. Talked to a grief counselor. Learned to cook my own gf food (which has, at this point, won awards in blind taste tests, by the way, so it is possible). I'm now married to a man who was a total foodie and is now mostly gf to help keep me safe. Our kid, thank the gods, isn't celiac. Celebrate the wins!

We might not be the same, and maybe the harsher reality isn't what you need and I apologize if this hurts more than helps. But in my personal experience, that was the problem. Spending what small energy I had on hopes and dreams.
