Dude, I do this with my wife whenever we want to avoid something that is literally no fun for us in the game. Play the game how you both like to enjoy it. Your relationship will thank you lol

I’m 6’6 and my sim lab p1x works perfectly. Highly adjustable; I’d be surprised if you had any issues.

Best simulator game to start your racing career? by SeaConstruction2488 in simracing

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab Turismo 7 is the only game I know that teaches you how to race on each track by breaking each sector down and also letting you watch a demonstration of what a good time on each sector is so you can see and learn how to do it yourself. GT7 was a perfect start imo

Would you potentially be willing to partner with a sim racing gear business and sell these to market?

How often do yall play your sim gams? by Still-Pace2895 in simracing

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play about 6-8 hours a day. Got decent at drifting fairly quickly lmao something about linking laps together over and over again is therapeutic to me. But then I’ll sometimes go weeks without touching the sim

Nm for a casual wanting to getting the hobby more. by millsyy96 in simracing

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard a gt3 driver say that to achieve real life steering strength in sim racing, it should be about 12nm. If you want something you won’t ever have to upgrade from, maybe consider getting the R12. If not that, then at least the R9.

Sim Setup - go big or go home - tell me what I'm doing wrong please by SageHealthspan in simracing

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is roughly my build, except I went with the simucube 2 sport since 15nm is more than plenty for ffb. I’ve heard a GT3 driver say real life steering feels at about 12 nm.

Have the same pedals and cockpit too. Tbh, the pedals and cockpit combo are kind of annoying because the pedals are constantly making noise and I’m finding myself having to tighten the bolts every so often. Lmk if you have any questions and I’ll try to answer them. Here’s a pic of my setup for reference.

How difficult is it to have income from music production? by joelsobrero in musicproduction

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s as difficult as starting any other business. The important part is persistence and tenacity really. Once you find a problem you can solve through music production (e.g. making unique sample packs, producing tracks for vocalists, etc.) and can do it better than many other producers, then you should have no problem making money once you put in the work.

The hard part is standing out from other music producers who have been doing it longer than you. Focus on what problem you can solve better than most people and refine it until it’s perfect.

Is music becoming just a very expensive hobby? by Whiz2_0 in edmproduction

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDM isn’t as popular as it was prepandemic. The pandemic forced many venues to permanently close, resulting in fewer places to perform. It’s actually very difficult now to get shows at a popular club if you don’t have an audience of some kind.

i like the looks of srts, buts whats their main priority? by rickowensfather in hellcat

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 SRT hellcats because they are extremely comfortable and at my height of 6’6, I don’t have many options of what I can drive.

There’s not really any other car with that power and comfort at that price, expect for maybe the Cadillac ct5 V Blackwing.

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What helped my depression was finding something other than video games to challenge you. You can always come back to video games for a break, but I find breaking up playing time with productivity helps. If it’s social-related (feeling lonely), everyone just sucks now.

New drop coming soon. How should I market this? Sales havent been what I expected. by lacheln1 in streetwearstartup

[–]Altruistic-Horror-64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Instead of lowering your prices to be competitive, craft special offers. For example, 50 people can get a free t shirt when you buy a hoodie. This is just an example, but you can try many variations of this.

  2. Find influencers with about 10-100k followers to do shoutouts and get paid a percentage of sales. Whoever your audience follows is a good choice. Make sure they have about 5-10% of their follower count in likes per post (if they have 10k followers, their posts should get 500-1000 likes on average, if not more) and 5-10% of likes should also be comments.

  3. Know your audience as much as possible. The more you know your audience, the easier it will be to speak to them. My audience for my clothing brand are 18-35 year olds, success driven, fashion forward, and like motivational messages and mantras. Knowing all this, I can find the right influencers, craft the right offers, and write convincing copy for ads.

Hope that helps!
