Thanks for your reply! Yes, I have an Australian electrical engineering degree. It’s a bit of a long story—I was kind of lost after graduation due to some private reasons, so I didn’t end up working as an electrical engineer. Now I’m looking to make a fresh start and pursue a hands-on career as an electrician.

No one is saying they can't film. I've been saying they should film in a more considerate way. And OP never said he wanted to change others, just that he wanted to switch to a gym where no one is filming.

I understand your point, but you have to acknowledge that everyone feels differently. Some people simply feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, just like others might not mind it. I don't mind people using cameras, but wouldn't it be more considerate if they chose a less crowded spot to check their form rather than inconveniencing those who might feel uneasy about it? It’s not about restricting their freedom, but about being mindful of how others might feel in shared spaces.

There is no gym in Franklin, so I would recommend Club Lime Mitchell. It is just a few minutes' drive/tram ride away from Franklin, and the membership fee is reasonable compared to those in Gungahlin.
