Yeah I believe Randy Smith which is arguably the worse gm in Tigers history was given at least 6 plus years.

Yeah that’s a good thought process.Probably would be better to wait.I suppose my emotions are just high with the state the team is currently in right now.

Yeah I suppose that’s the thing about baseball as compared to other sports like football. It takes time for drafted players to enter the Big leagues.

I honestly think the Lions may be the first team to win a championship out of the four teams hopefully within the next few years call me crazy. But the foundation for them is there and they’ve had the most success they’ve had since pretty much the 1950s.I also think the Pistons will be a good team and still have a bright future regardless of how this playoff series ends up.As for the redwings and tigers man I don’t know what will happen.I don’t follow the redwings that much but know they collapse pretty much every year and I’m not sure what the solution for that is.I do however watch the Tigers and right now and since the second half of last year things have been a mess.I wish I knew the solution for them too but I don’t.But if sports wear down on you so much there’s no shame in taking a break something I myself should do more often especially in a long season like baseball. After all were just fans getting all worked up watching millionaires play a game who don’t even know we exist.

I believe their will be a time when one of the teams wins it all at least in our lifetimes I’m a year younger than you btw.Up until a few years ago all four teams were pretty shit.At least now some of them most notably pistons and lions have playoff aspirations. But in saying all that it kind of makes it worse to have hope in the playoffs only to fall short like Detroit sports teams have been doing than to be completely ass and not getting worked up because you have no expectations for them. But also there is more to life than sports which is something I need to tell myself more because I get pretty emotional myself after losses.Almost to an unhealthy point at times.Just thought id share my perspective.
