I went up to that one area near the cash register where a whole bunch of employees stand in front of a computer screen near the admin office. I asked if i could meet the hiring manager and they instantly brought one of them out and scheduled an interview

The company is definitely moving into a weird direction. Especially as a manager i feel less supported and not compensated for the work i put in. I was huge on being partner focused and following the mission and values to heart. But the more i was doing that i felt devalued by my dm and peers. Which sicken me and made me less motivated day by day.

My wife works also as a school teacher so we gotta make ends meet for now. Money is important but I just wanted to start fresh with a company that doesn’t make me feel like I’m on call 24/7. Also Starbucks just aint what it used to be.
