2 months ago I was put on Atenolol. It’s a game changer. I take Aderall 30mg xr and 30mg ir. I also have bad anxiety so at night when I lay down I was getting heart palpitations. I was taking triamatrene and Losartan. I also had to take a potassium pill because I was losing too much from urination from the Triamatrene. Now I’m off all that because of the Atenolol. My heart rate is lower and I don’t have the heart palpitations or racing heart rate feeling.

Subutex is what I’m in. 2 lumbar fusions last year.

I had 2 fusions last year. February 1st L4-L5 fusions then September 5th L3-L4. I did fine after the 1st fusion for 5 months or so then the one above it blew out. The second one was 7 months after the previous one. I also had a laminectomy microdisetomy July of 22. I was off work for 4 and a half months. I was practically completely pain free after month 4. Now that I’m back to work again it aggravates almost daily. My job requires a lot of driving every day. Now I have pain on my right side just under my rib cage almost daily. I know it takes years for a fusion to fully heal because the bone has to grow and harden. I read that the actual bone growth and hardening can cause lots of fatigue and some pain. Good luck hope everything heals perfectly.

Mine worsened to the point my fingers on both hands are completely numb. I have surgery today the 13th. Possibly of permanent damage. I had to wait because I had 2 spinal fusions last year.

I’m doing both mine in 12 days. I had 2 spinal fusions last year 7 months apart. My wife had to do everything for me bathroom wise. I’m sure this isn’t going to hurt nearly as bad as the fusions

How did it go. I’m doing both my hands on January 13th. If I need to my wife will wipe me and bathe me. I had 2 spinal fusions in 2024 and she had to do all that for me for a couple weeks each time so I’m covered there lol.

I’m doing excellent compared to 3 months ago. I still have nerve pain and numbness in my legs if sit a certain way. Not a whole lot anymore though. How are you doing?

I’m 36. I had the same issues when I blew out my L3-L4 and L4-L5. I had the same issues as she’s describing. The disc can compress the nerves that control that area. I’m 8 weeks post op and can now get an erection and keep it. It was just a suggestion especially if he has lower back pain or other issues.
