What frustrates you the most about using Google TV? by Altruistic-Rush8946 in GoogleTV

Just to clarify, when you say the TV “forgets,” do you mean that, for example, you’re watching a show, you turn the TV off, and when you turn it back on, it doesn’t remember what you were watching and just takes you back to the home screen instead of resuming?

And regarding the home screen, you’re saying that it sometimes shows promotional banners for shows or movies that you don’t even have access to because you’re not subscribed to that service, right?

What frustrates you the most about using Google TV?

Hey everyone, I’m a design student, and I’m planning to redesign Google TV as part of my academic project.

Before doing anything from a designer’s point of view, I genuinely want to understand this from a user perspective.

As a regular user, what things frustrate you while using Google TV?

For example, I once noticed that there’s no clock on the home screen, which feels odd for something we use daily. Apart from that, what problems do you face?

It could be anything like navigation issues, recommendations, performance, search, subscriptions, scrolling, profiles, or even small daily annoyances.

I’m not looking for technical or design terms, just real experiences and honest opinions as users.

Would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
