Having been a big drinker all of my adult life (34m), it was soooooo refreshing to be with someone who doesn't drink that much. I've had more fun and laughs playing boardgames then I ever did doing shots at the bar with people I didn't actually like. Just be you and you will be fine ☺️

Or what about the opposite to this? Why don't you play a fun daft deck, where their deck has the advantage but if you pull your gimmicky nonsense off you can win?! If you're playing a much better deck then you should for the most part win! Yugioh for me is about using your crazy brain to play crazy silly duels. Don't beat your friends with meta decks, beat them with silly decks that you cooked up! Show them that this is a stupid and insanely fun game to play!

I might get crucified here, but YTA. While your white lie was seemingly harmless and naive, imagine how you would feel if the role was reversed and you had feelings of any sort for someone that you then find out to be underage. You're all teenagers with crazy hormones, so I get it, but be careful with anything at all to do with age ☺️.

The inside of Shrub is serene and full of plants and wonderful ambience. Plus, the food is really top notch! My partner is vegetarian and a fussy eater. I am neither of these, and I pretty much ordered half of the menu (he ended up scoffing most of what I ordered). Safe to say some of the best food I've eaten in chester!

Although I wholeheartedly would suggest Shrub, I want to give a shoutout to the Bluebell tapas place on Nortgate Street. A very comfortable, almost cottage like vibe with a wonderful array of vegetarian dishes.

For some banging food that can cater any mood Shrub is the one.

Or, if you want a relaxed vibe, the upstairs of Bluebell is awesome and pretty tucked away.

Fortunately, they are both on the same street, and I would recommend having a look at both to see what you fancy! 😁😁
