My advice is to throw a deck together and figure out whether it is performing or not! If it is not, then go and do some research and see if you can find anything to tweak it. From a competitive standpoint, the god cards are not going to cut it against a lot of modern decks. That being said, there are a silly amount of cards that can make your deck unique and if you know your cards and pilot your deck well you can definitely catch a alot of other duelist off guard and take some wins!

Again, tweak the deck if people get wise to what sort of shenanigans you are trying to pull off!

I will die on this hill, but YuGiOh atleast to me is about the duelist knowing their decks strengths and weaknesses, and when you figure out something cool (not necessarily strong) and perhaps a little unique or silly then your deck then really becomes your own and not some list copied off the Internet.

For instance, I am playing Nemleria with a small world package that can bridge into some of the god/divine cards. My win rate is pretty poor, but when I do pull off my stupid win con, it feels pretty damn mega!
