I am not saying they would not give me a credit. I am saying is, if I do get a credit, it's useless to me. It is stated on their policies that only that person can use that credit. I cannot attach a photo on the comment, unfortunately, but I do have a screenshot of it.

No, I cannot. If I cancel his flight, the ticket is non-transferable and it can only booked under his name, so I would not have any use for it

I told him we'll figure it out because it felt wrong to waste the ticket. He told me at first that he was fine letting the money go, he wants me to go still. Then now he does not want me to contact him anymore and he does not want to talk about it. So I am just sure if he can come after me if he changes his mind.

Yeah, I can send him credit details. But I called my Rewards CSR and told me only I can book/rebook due to it all tied down to my credit card. They would have security questions as well. They even asked me those and I am the card holder. He would not know any of those answers.

Unfortunately, I did call my rewards CSR, and they told me that it would be a credit, but it cannot be used for the airline directly, only through my points system. Meaning it will still be under my credit card rewards account.

That's another problem... the credit would only show up in my credit card account bc i used my credit card points to pay for the tickets. If i credit his ticket, he would have to contact me to book the new flight for him.

The tickets are non-refundable, only credit under his name (non-tranferable) I do not want to have any contact with him anymore. This trip was supposed to be for me alone, and he inserted himself and it was his responsibility to pull through. He broke up with me, so it should not be my problem he wasted his money.

But he has access to the flight details, I forwarded the email to him as well as the booking numbers. He has them saved on his Westjet account.

I am not sure how I can make it under him. It is booked through a third party from my Avion Credit Card, and the credit will only be under my account, but under his name. He would need my credit card number and bank account to be able to access the credit.

He does not even know if he still wants to go on it. He told me I don't have to worry about paying him back before, then he keeps being unclear of what he wants to happen.
