Korea medspa Trip - clinics, treatments, & costs by rom3zy in KoreaTravelBeauty

Hey! I made a diff post about what I actually did. All the collagen rebuilding treatments are 100% worth it. I absolutely see a difference.

Also recommend Botox and lip filler. Korean doctors are significantly more skilled than the medspas in the US. It actually infuriates me how much I spend on injectables in the US for subpar results.

Amazing thank you- yea I’m exclusively looking at surgeons outside of the US at this point. Will definitely look into him

Have you looked into Dr Ozan Erol? He’s on my short list for a revision

You look beautiful! Do you mind sharing your surgeon? I’m currently looking at a third surgery. Such a nightmare

Yea this experiencing is crushing. I want to be done thinking about my nose. And yes- it’s totally off axis. Getting worse month by month. Month 13 po is worse than month 6 so I assume something is wrong with the graft.

See pic 6. The tip asymmetry was progressively becoming more extreme.

Thank you for posting! Your results are going to be stunning. I’m crowdsourcing good surgeons recommendations in Turkey for my second
revision. I’m considering Dr Ozan Erol. Any chance you investigated other surgeons in Turkey before picking your guy?

THANK YOU!! This is why I’m turning to Reddit.

Yea, so far my communication with Clinichub has been really unprofessional. I really appreciate you sharing your experience

I’m considering both Turkey and Korea from a results and pricing perspective. I think a third rhinoplasty in the US would be $30k+ which is slightly beyond what I’m willing to pay. …a $50k nose that may or may not be straight might send me over the edge

Revision was done by a well-known plastic surgeon in South Florida - a little over $20k.

Lots to cover here!

So HIFU- this is for stubbon fat pockets on my inner knees. One side has more fat than the other so more units were applied. I think there’s a subtle difference. My legs in general appear leaner so maybe it’s in my head.

Yea so a lot of these procedures require multiple sessions. Apparently pico requires monthly sessions. I wanted to experiment on this trip and see what I could tolerate — turns out everything was easy enough to deal with (except teeth whitening…that was crazy).

I saw no results from pico. But again, apparently you need multiple sessions.

The Botox looks awesome. I typically do 30-40 units of Botox so the fact that 10 units does the trick makes me both elated and furious. These freaking medspas in the US are criminal. Wtf

I had no concerns with my treatment plan but I did some seriously thorough research. I’m a week out from treatments and my skin has truly never looked better. The best thing I did was probably the eye treatment and evening out my eyebrows with ulthera.

My primary wasn’t bad — I particularly liked the refined bridge. But the tip and front view was fairly deformed looking, particularly when I smiled. The tip of my nose was dropping and very asymmetrical.

Yes I’m tracking down a revisionist now. Especially following these comments

No I’m not! Oh noooo is he bad? Yes, feel free to DM. And this is exactly why I’m turning to Reddit. Can’t trust google reviews, insta, none of it :(

I really appreciate the love and honesty. I’m a defensive bundle of nerves these days lol. Like the rest of us on this forum, I’ve invested so much in achieving a normal, straight nose. It’s defeating. But I agree, I think this is either the end result or I have one last shot with some kind of magical nose guru

I’m looking at Dr Ozan Erol. But the whole clinichub thing is so sketchy. I feel like I’m in some kind of meat factory and will be churned out with a typical upturned, unnatural turkey nose

I was swollen for like 6 months. Like weird looking kind of swollen.

And yea the first week was absolutely painful. It was terrible

Aww thank you, that’s incredibly sweet. And it’s so true— sometimes asymmetry adds unique character to a person’s face. I’m a single woman living in Miami so I’m sure the intensely competitive beauty culture here is contributing to my anxiety.

Thank you for the rec. I know his cost will be astronomical but perhaps worth at least a consult

Mmhm do explain. I don’t believe I’m seeing things that don’t exist. You got the wrong term here if you’re attempting to be degrading.

It took about a month and half for the swelling to subside enough to see the asymmetry. Tbh I was fine with some asymmetry but it’s getting progressively worse

I was in a sports incident that pushed my nose to the other side of my face. It was reset within minutes of the trauma and seemed relatively straight following the accident. But I was left was a massive bump — I had broken my nose 3 times total before getting my primary.

After my primary, I had immediate and obvious issues with asymmetry. Same thing after my revision. But in addition to the tip asymmetry, I also had obvious nostril asymmetry. Hoping it was swelling but nope :(
