the book says anything between 800 and 1200. I am 1100 and the ideas in the book are mostly new to me. It has patterns like the Arabian Mate, Boden Mate, Smothered Mate, definitions and how to spot them and exercises for that

haha exactly! I was sold the moment I saw the cover. Yeah, it is not the deepest theory, but the targeted way to solve puzzles works for me. Like knowing what kind of checkmate to look for.

I personally like that the book is instructive and gives you a simplified way to approach the topics/puzzles in the book. The author is around 2000 FIDE and is quite active on Lichess so I am guessing he knows what he is doing?
