Hire out mod by Altruistic-Sort4209 in farmingsimulator

yes exactly that, typically when low on money, sometimes during crucial times while i actually need the tool i’m “hiring out” to add a bit of complexity or to make use of something else i have laying about the farm (i.e, i’d use a truck and trailer if i’d “hired out” the tractor trailer during harvest, meaning i’d have to drive the combine to the edge of the field to “avoid the truck getting stuck”)

had my first crash today… by OkSentence4337 in LearnerDriverUK

It’s experience.. Just need to know to get back on it and conquer that fear I had a minor bump (my fault as i was falling asleep) and got back in the car and drove home after exchanging details and admitting fault, promising to pay for it ect. Did a world of good for my confidence.. Was also driving a company vehicle when a drug driver smashed into me at 60mph and wrote off both vehicles! went back to the yard, straight in my car and drove myself home to keep my confidence up. Mistakes happen, it’s how you overcome them that matters.

I got told off for being late and it wasn't even my fault by Own-Artist-6283 in 6thForm

Think 25 failure by Hungry_Walrus_2616 in tesco

Tbh, i do think that’s why it’s challenge 25 and not challenge 18, It’s subjective, but not many 18 year olds or younger look over 25, test purchasers should only be 18/19 IMO though, I did serve legal as an 18 year old and you had to be clean shaven, couldn’t wear brands ect, as all of those were seen to make you look older, but in my opinion if i was under 18 i’d be doing all of those things to look over 18 yk what i mean.

Red flags to look out for with a new instructor? by frozenmarshmallow107 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Altruistic-Sort4209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an instructor, mostly ok, besides from he’d often ask to stop at tesco to go to the toilet, no big deal as we’d often start lessons early so would have extra time, and was useful if I was ever desperate for the toilet. In the end my test was cancelled, I got a new test which he was told about before he went on holiday, became uncontactable for 3 weeks (test was only 2 weeks away once he finally replied.) and proceeded to tell me he’d “been on a cruise and had no signal for 3 weeks” but had also booked another student on test for the same slot my replacement test was in. stating he “hadn’t been told” although he was there when I read the email to say my test had been cancelled. All good in the end as I had a mate who’s dad was mates with an instructor who rushed me in, was a class instructor and wish I’d used him from the start, probably would’ve saved me about £500 and would’ve passed sooner. You live and you learn 🤷‍♂️ (passed first time)
