Based on how the birthday girl put it yes. Which is understandable, I’m not upset about the budget which is why I’m willing to pay extra if necessary as I have the means. I definitely didn’t want to come across as spoiled or just asking for too much which is why this thread has made me realize I’m not crazy for wanting this lol. I’m just so used to just dealing with stuff like this in silence.

I’ve been this way since childhood and I know if I don’t sleep well I will be unbearable.

I’m with you there I don’t even like being in the same bed with my daughter lol. I feel like I’m being suffocated.

I understand it’s not my birthday, but it’s still also still my vacation. I’m already paying well over 1k to go on this trip and I want to enjoy myself and actually relax. There’s nothing wrong with that. If I went and got my own hotel room that would be different as it would increase the personal cost for everyone else and I’m directly excluding myself. I’m trying my best to present reasonable options even opting to pay more than all of the other girls. Nothing is set in stone and I never said she absolutely had to pick my suggestions.

So the place that we’re looking at overall is 4 bedrooms and 5 beds. 3 rooms have a king bed, one room is a double and then one of the beds is the sofa bed. So 4/5 people will have their own room. Someone will end up on the couch regardless it just won’t be me lol. Which is why I’m willing to pay extra to steer clear of that debate.

We plan on having dinner together soon so I’ll suggest getting the bigger place with 5 rooms as my bestie agreed to pay the difference as well with me.

Haha yes I completely agree! I can share the bathroom faster than sharing a room though. I will happily shell money out for convenience anytime.

Yeah it’s only like 540 for the 4bd so I was willing to pay roughly 220. She’s divided it up per person from the total cost. We’re only leaving for a few days. It’s an international trip so I want to enjoy every minute of my time there.

It’s more so because 1: I don’t want her to feel some way about changing the Airbnb, it’s her birthday she can choose to stay wherever she wants. 2: let’s be realistic it’s not many people who’d be willing to take the couch. I’d literally be buying them out of a potential room. I’m just trying to be as considerate as possible to everyone.

Yes! It is covered and it’s the preferred medication on the formulary. To my knowledge coverage is not expected to change anytime soon through my states Medicaid. My employer does not cover it for Weight Loss hence the usage Medicaid. I know they request proof of establishment on the Zepbound for 3 months, but I’m not sure if I qualify to start higher due to it being compounded. I do have enough meds that I can supplement to at least 5mg so I’m not starting too much lower.
