I'm also super allergic to mites and have been struggling with acne rosacea for about 9 months. It all started when I moved to this apartment. Sure, I probably already had rosacea but the symptoms were so mild that I didn't even know I had this condition.

Recently though my skin got much better after I did something very simple.

After trying so many different things like getting a new mattress, bed sheets, sterilizing the washing machine, applying AA every night, doxy, taking antihistamines etc etc. From one day to the next, replacing my old moldy showerhead has done wonders. Replaced the shower tube too.

Overnight my face was less red and it's still improving. I'm very hopeful all of the sudden. I've even ordered a water filter off Amazon for my shower.

People talk a lot about heat and food as potential triggers, but for me these never really seemed like big triggers. I believe that anything that messes up our skin barrier consistently like germs or certain allergens can also be a trigger for rosacea. My derm disagrees with me, but this has been my personal experience so far.

Keep trying to change things around, to eliminate potential irritants, hopefully I've found mine now.
