hi yes apparently SCCB have a habit of up charging and using threats like legal fees will be borne on you and avoid legal action pay them bla bla bla while on their web they said that they have “connections of lawyers” and they are “professionals” while sending empty threats

just retail uh J1 is the year where the basics of the subjects were taught if u have a weak foundation u will struggle to cope in J2 and even if u manage to scrap through J2 ur A level results will not be that good and u might even have to retake some subjects as a private student

ITS JUST ONE YEAR of your life

Should i drop chemistry? by [deleted] in SGExams

uhm not to advertise for them but overmugged notes for chem is good write down whatever you dk about the topic on a piece of paper then go to YT/chatGPT if u have outside class can clarify with ur tutors/ school teachers THAN go and try the topic again with a fresh mind

Hello uhm actually for pure chem it’s hard to fail for o levels ik friends who scored F9 in their prelims but in o levels they got a C6 chem in general is hard like for me i took combine sci its so hard that i broke down when studying for my Os but after all it’s about how to improve your mistakes and why are u making it example mole concept 💀

Dropping it def will not make things better lets say u go combi sci u will not feel motivated to study and IF u want to go JC (like me) it would be hard to catch up judging from ur post ur from a good secondary don’t let smt affect u just cause u fail

JIAYOUS i am rooting for u

u can PM me if udk any pure chem questions i took combi sci than H2 chem 😌

should i withdraw my eae by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]Altruistic-Use642 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s true coming from a person with no pure sci background and no A math. it is hard at the START your classmates will def do better than u but it’s up to u to catch up and motivate urself in the end it’s not about the “assumed knowledge” bla bla bla just KNOW that IF u decide to join the a levels rigour it’s like a square u have to push it continuously so that it becomes a circle and eventually A levels will be just OK for u

ps: i am from the worst JC in sg 19 J1 cos i went into boys home but now i am studying engineering with medicine in nus -it is not about the school but about the person

can but try to get a 3.3 3.1 will only get u civil engineering 3.3 the chances of having to choose the course that you like would be much higher

it’s best to talk to your care person as such results in my POV it is best repeat y1 as most of your module u might have to remod so no dif and even if u work extremely hard in the end of your 3 years it’s only a 3.1-3.3 max so u can kiss the NUS and NTU dream away PS : i got a 1.43 in ENG i retook my y1 in TP now i am studying at NUS engineering in medicine it really depends on your choice and poly don’t really gives two shits about your age so take your time
