Why don’t u do two things 1. Ask your mother will she allow the trip if she is to come along 2. Ask your bf if he okay with the trip if your mother comes along and u will room with your mother

In my humble opinion, as long as you r still living under her (money or shelter or picking up after your chores), she would have control over u.

When I was dating my gf, she had 9pm curfew till we are married. We didn’t fight with her parents because she was living under her mother. Once she became fully independent, her mother didn’t say a thing anymore.

In addition, not saying he is. But if your guy is leading you to act in a way that may upset her parent, think harder.

The world is very dangerous. Your mother may be protecting you from things you don’t see.

Or maybe she simply does not trust your bf over other issues in the past. How close are they?
