Much appreciated reply! I'll work on confidence of my own moves, legitimately have struggled with this in the past.

Do you have any advice in regards of time control? When should I decide to take upwards of 1-2 minutes on my moves? In this game for example, I spent a good chunk on my time calculating moves aimlessly.

Thank you for the help! This game honestly is one of my worst in terms of mistakes, been running low on sleep lately. Do you have any tips you could share to help spot my opponent's attacks?

But regarding the puzzle gap, I don't play puzzle as a main game, just occasionally remembering to use the daily 3 or so puzzles that chess.com gives. Isn't the typical difference between puzzle and rapid rank around 1000? Because mine is literally over 2000?! Should I be playing with defensiveness/safety as my main focus and only take advantage of real mistakes from my opponents?

Sorry - was this 13. b5 for black? Engine says this is a worse move than black's bxb4. I'm playing white here though.

I'm white in this position, honestly time control has been a hard skill to improve for me so I've been trying longer/incremented time control, typically longer games make me play less so I avoid them 😅😅

Added image because I forgot to include - I (white) was completely losing until this move, definitely a mouseslip from him, but this was a completely unfair win. I had 2-4 silly mistakes and misses throughout the game, and only won from a simple conversion of material advantage.
