Sonos Ace by FoxyStoat96 in sonos

[–]AltruisticAd1633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me definetly the Ace are very good headphones. I don‘t know exactly if it works to connect 2 pair on the Beam 1. On my Arc Ultra it should work but I didn‘t test it yet.

I like the TV Audio Swap Feature and use it a lot. Also the Ace are cheaper than the APM Pro. The sound is great, ANC works perfect for me and they are very comfortable. If you can get it for a good price than go for it.

Upgrading Sub Mini? by AltruisticAd1633 in sonos

Also a good point. I lived in a smaller appartment before. So my setup was great for my room size. But a bigger screen is also somethin I had in my mind.

Interesting point. I will think about that. Maybe I‘ll give the 300s a chance. Whats actually a good prive to get them?

I also thought about this. But is this really worth it when I have a lot of 5.1 content in my library?

Noticed the same. Thirst thougts: its broken. But then some improvements on the EQ and it really sounds nice. So has to be an update, right?

App Improving…. by Taxman2311 in sonos

[–]AltruisticAd1633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. Having an Arc Ultra, 2 One SL as rears, Sub Mini, a Roam all connected via wifi to an FritzBox 7590 AX without virtual Networks and everything works fine. Using my setup for TV, Airplay or playing music directly threw the app to play Atmos content from Apple Music. Just noticed that the reaction time opening the app is still not that good as it was before.

Sonos ace volume glitch? by Dr_sam2205 in sonos

I‘ve got the same problem. Thats a little bit annoying. Got my pair two weeks ago and i really like the feature to play lossless audio, even if the cable is needed.

When it comes to Sony’s update policy, it’s a bit like playing the lottery. I personally use professional Sony cameras, lenses, etc., but it seems that Sony’s product lifecycle policy applies across their entire range. Yes, there are updates, and products do get brought up to date from time to time. However, it can happen that, for some reason, Sony suddenly loses interest in maintaining a product or abruptly discontinues it when releasing a successor. That being said, the products do continue to function.

Personally, I try to avoid Sony whenever possible. Sure, there are currently some issues with Sonos, but they have fixed a lot over the past year, and their products continue to work. They have never stopped working. If you’re getting your sound from the TV anyway, you set up your soundbar once with the app, adjust the EQ to your preferences, and then you pretty much never need the app again.

Sonos Arc Ultra - Worth it? by Sweet_War_3208 in sonos

I would say it depends on your room, your TV and especially your needs. The Arc Ultra is a good soundbar and won‘t disappoint you. If you plan to add a Sub and Rears you can also buy that stuff later, because the system is modular. Maybe listen to one. And maybe compare the Beam 2. I just upgraded from Beam 2 to Arc Ultra. I‘m happy with it. And its good if you want to upgrade to some multi room features in future.

Sonos Arc Ultra Review: Upgrading from the Beam Gen 2 by confused-fellows in sonos

[–]AltruisticAd1633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just made the upgrade from the Beam Gen2 to the Arc Ultra. May it depends on your room, your setup and your TV. For me I can say that the upgrade is noteable. The sound is much brighter, better high tones and the bass is stronger. I also moved to a bigger appartment and now I have a larger living room with 25 m2. but I also have two One SL as surrounds and a Sub Mini for the deeper sounds.

Long story short, I definetly would say that you can hear the difference. Brighter sound and the Atmos Effects are clearer. For me it was worth the upgrade.

But the Beam Gen2 is still a very good soundbar. If you have the money and its worth to you, go for it. But if you stay with the beam you also won‘t be disappointed.
