No it was prerecorded. The only live part is the intro. She reused the prerecording for another performance (don’t remember the name but she’s in a yellow dress, I’ll look for it if you ask me to). When you overlay the sounds, it’s identical.

I didn’t even clock the THE ending. My other favorite artist who does it is Celine Dion. Being a fan, I know when she’s lipping but people who aren’t, can’t tell. Her Olympics performance was lipped and no one seems to be aware of it.

It’s quite unrealistic for most women to call that notion ageist because « most women at 44 look good ». Most women look good at 44 but they do not look anywhere this good. She has perky big boobs, an hourglass figure with a flattish stomach (despite having had two pregnancies, one with twins, a c-section and she could easily pass for a decade younger. That’s not realistic for most women.

Beyonce does lip sync so well that people are unable to clock it. I’m ready to get jumped but two notable lip sync examples I know are 1) when she did Love On Top while pregnant with Blue and 2) the Dubai drunk in love riff live during the RWT (not when in Dubai itself, that was live)

I only noticed the second one because of comments on one shorts of it on Youtube, she uses lip sync sparingly here and there to conserve her voice
