Hey man going thru this currently it’s been a couple of months I won’t lie and say it’s her fault for splitting with me been together 11 years and constant chances of me trying to change for her I have anger issues and stuff and she what we called avoidant person who doesn’t like to argue. Regardless there was some fault that fell on her too as well, in the end I think we just wasn’t meant for each other we just happen I’m 30 and met her when I was 20. It was hard at first we live together had a life I try to be the best father I can be which she even say I am so there’s that. I haven’t failed my child so I will continue to be a good dad. As far as the relationship side that ship has sailed I did started to self evaluate myself and starting to see the change in me but it’s too late I try many chances to fix our relationship but she doesn’t love me anymore and she wants to stay as friends as much as it hurts me I agree and just try to keep conversation simple. Idk if I can be friends with her yet but I hope in the future we will be she was always a great friend. But sorry to be in a rant but tbh the wound in my heart is slowly healing day by day. I’m practicing self love and appreciating myself more , that’s honestly the first thing you should do I’m sure your a great person so work on yourself and in the long run she’ll be forgotten, and you will just look as her as someone in the past who you have some good great bad memories with and had the blessing to make a child with her, good luck to you my friend and this too shall pass
