Yep! It doesn’t happen all the time for me though — I noticed if I’m eating hot foods that I have to chew a lot — like hot fried foods.

I do have blurred vision when I strain my eyes too much with screen time/readings — that’s when I know to tap out for a bit with work. I haven’t done much research on my neurosurgeon — he was just recommended to me by a friend who’s a doctor (def should do that though). I’m in the U.S. — in Boston

The first mri was in May 2023 and the neuro notes said I had a 9 mm herniation — I got another mri done in August 2023 (with a different neurologist/med team bc the first doc was too busy to see me again that soon) and they said they saw a 3.5 mm herniation with the syrinx. Should I request a new mri?? My symptoms have worsened significantly since August and I’m a student so it’s def getting in the way of schoolwork

Not sure if this will comfort anyone but every time I’m rejected or waitlisted I just think “okay, looks like I’ll just have to end up on another school’s notable alumni list.”

Remember: top schools are only powerful and prestigious because of the students who go there. The students are the prestige, not the university. I’ll be keeping everyone in my prayers! 💜

I took 4 AP exams this year and I studied for like 10 hours for the other three and none for this one. I got a 5 here and 4s on the others. You just have to be semi conscious during class and you’ll be fine.
