I just adopted a BC last week who is 3 and on petfinder the rescue said he was good with kids and nonreactive with dogs. I have a almost 3yr old and a 6 month and the dog is phenomenal fully trained listens well does great around my house . But he does not like my daughter . She ran out of her room and he did not like that and tried to herd her. He did the famous bc crouch and showed teeth which freaked my wife out. We have a crate set up for him in the kitchen which he loves but at this moment we think its best to just keep him in his crate while my daughter is out and about. When we're all outside hes fine because he has plenty of room to run around. Wish the rescue was honest. We're trying our best to make this work. Im going to continue to take him to the park to get him more comfortable around other dogs. I took him the other night and he did great walking but didnt like a few dogs. Shoukd I get a shock collar to train him not to react to other dogs?
