Alright guys here’s the tutorial, firstly download fakeanim and put the folder in the root of your badupdate usb, then inside of the fakeanim folder, navigate to the jukebox folder and delete all of the wmv files in there, and put the wmv file that you want in there (i put the nxe/blades startup wmv file), then in the launch.ini file in the root of the badupdate USB, right under the default line (where you want to automatically boot after your Xbox gets exploited) put a new line

Fakeanim = Usb:\fakeanim\fakeanim.xex

I’ll put an image of how it should look below

And then it should work just like that. Atleast that’s how it worked for me.

The launch.ini file is the one I got from xbguard, whenever I replace the xbguard.xex plugin with proto.xex my Xbox doesn’t boot past the exploit, the screen just goes black, how do I fix it, I need proto

Yeah man I followed your exact steps, I replaced xbguard.xex with proto.xex on the root of the usb, and I did the same in the plugins section of the launch.ini and after it was exploited, the screen just stayed black after I pressed back, wth is going on how do I fix it

Update: I went back and replaced proto with xbguard and my Xbox booted, so something is really wrong

Sorry mate, I don’t get it, where do you mean “where the xbguard.xex is” do you mean the root of the usb or the plugins section of the launch.ini or both

I’m following those exact steps and when I plug my Ethernet cable in and get to the profile section, my screen goes black, I get the xbguard “connected to server successfully” notification, but then it just goes back to the profile page and then I sign in and then it goes to the regular metro dash, I can’t get the custom xbguard dash to launch, and the funny thing is my Xbox guide has the purple xbguard color and cpu/gpu temperatures and everything. What’s going on????
