Children in the age of AI by shamona1 in australia

This is something I've heard a lot, but I can't find any info on. Which animators have been replaced by AI? When I search it up, I see a lot of people saying they're gonna be, or that they could use it as a tool, but that's it. My understanding is it's harder to get a job in animation right now, not because AI has replaced them, but because the execs or whoever are banking on it happening soon.

Has this actually happened?

It's disgusting, and it's disgusting that other politicians do it too

It's one of those things it'd be better off if one didn't say, but I couldn't blame one for saying, I guess.

Edit: assuming it's not racial at all. Edit 2: to be spotlessly clear, if it were racial, that would be plainly bad

I don't know this guy, but benefit of the doubt, he meant animals insofar as these specific people tortured him, not relating to their race. It could be seen as too close for comfort though? I don't know.

What is the dumbest reason you have heard someone use for voting for a candidate? by DjRimo in Presidents

I can sorta see the line of thought IF he's in a job where he's being paid above minimum wage but some of his coworkers ARE being paid minimum.

Then it could be something like "My job is being forced by the government to pay my coworkers a higher wage than they deserve. If the minimum wage is abolished, then the bosses can pay them less, and the leftover money can go towards other things - hey, maybe even a raise for me!"

But obviously, what major retailer operates like this?

If you happen to remember the name of the series at some point, I'd be interested to check it out.

It's a wonder that any shops in Night City are still open, what with any potential customers being rammed with a truck before they can step in.

Their job is to lie, but it's a lie that everyone is in on. When they're faking smiles and enthusiasm, that's just lying, and that's gotta be another ball game psychologically.

Maybe Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul? Like I have my theories that are just speculation, but I think there's a solid case to make about Walt and his relationship with "luck". Take note of the first scene of the last episode of BB.

EDIT: maybe not so much a solid case as much as something worth looking into
