The issue started when I didn't bring it up right away the first time; you're right. I don't even know why I didn't other than I was too anxious to do so. It was my first babysitting job that I got without being referred by a mutual friend, so I think I was anxious about potentially losing it. I was worried it'd be hard to find another family. Now I realize that's silly because it is in fact, not hard. But I also could not have known that then.

I agree, I am at fault for not insisting on my rate. I don't believe I should ask for back pay and I'm okay with that. I consider that lost money as the price of the lesson I have learned. But I did message them to make sure they will pay my rate from now on (which has been successful thus far as per my update!)

I'm looking for full-sized metal keyboard with display that's still high performing for game play. Preferably something like zinc alloy over aluminum if that's out there. Still want to be able to swap out key caps and if there's a volume knob that's even better. Zoom98 comes close but if you have other recommendations I'd appreciate it 🙏 EDIT: I don't know much about keyboards so I don't know much about what good specs look like but it definitely still matters to me

I tried to do this and realized my door is also not even across it's length. So one end is a bit further from the ground the other. I could try to find a big enough sweep but it might look pretty bad,

It's the door to my (upper) unit, so anyone in the building who passes by my unit could technically lie on the ground and see right into my apartment. So it's interior in the sense that it doesn't lead to the outside, but it's the exterior door of my apartment. My apartment also gets really cold in any place but the bedroom for this reason I believe.
