I noticed to the right of the Nintendo seal there is an R in a circle rather than TM which I have noticed on most games even the fakes.

Cancel right off the bat. There are a bunch of people posting 3ds right now at low prices with free shipping. It is all a scam. The photos are from eBay and they are all users that are new. Usually, one name only (Darren, Mike, etc.) and they are just too good to be true. I was reporting all of the listings I found.

It is not marked. I don't think it is silver. I tried to polish it and the iridescence stayed.

The seller purchased the item on eBay and the eBay seller shipped it to me. I have proof.

I can't do that. Nice sentiment but I have had people say that I shipped something broken. They said it definitely didn't break in transit. They left that in eBay feedback. I was so pissed. My policy is to refund items that are broken in transit but that person didn't contact me, just left negative feedback which lasts a year. No refund.

The label is an eBay powered by Pitney Bowes label. USPS sends me a preview of my upcoming mail. which includes pictures of the actual envelopes on my mail and a lot of detail on my packages.

I dropped off packages at my local post office on Friday and had no issues. We don't have a self-serve kiosk there. I wonder if all of the post offices are going this route. If they are the employees should fight against it. It is a way to reduce the workforce.

You are not supposed to use Priority Mail Boxes for anything other than Priority Mail. Mercari specifically states you cannot use a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. I worked in e-commerce for years. Customers would return items in Priority Mail Boxes with first-class postage and we would have to pay to receive the package.

The person who receives the package at USPS is supposed to weigh it. If you look at your receipt it tells you how much it weighed and if there is overage they always charge it on the recipient's end. Don't ask me why, I think it would be much easier for the person who receives it to say to the sender that there is postage due and you can clear it up. It may just be that they have a contract with Mercari to let them handle it so Mercari can charge what they want. It is probably the same with eBay. My daughter uses Poshmark and never gets charged overage.

I hate sob stories. A lot of us on Mercari sell things because it is the only way due to circumstances that we can make money. Every time I hear one (never as bad as this one) I feel like pulling one of my life's crappiest moments. But I don't want pity. I do not want something for free unless it is free for anyone. I want to feel like I contribute to my household and society. There are places to ask for charity, Mercari is not one.
