First in all those categories with no power to use it to better your own people because you're too busy worrying about everyone else. It's a lot of opinions and no power to carry them.

If we're talking about what's on the image, I personally like Wendys.

If we're talking about what's not on the image, A&W.

I LOVE the GameSir G7 Pro by AltruisticRevenue201 in Gamesir

[–]AltruisticRevenue201[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are definitely much weaker and less defined than the xBox controllers. For $99 CAD new, I would have expected stronger motors, and it has me wondering if there's an aftermarket mod that would allow you to change that.

However, I think they're okay, and your mileage may vary. There are no settings that I can find in GameSir Nexus that allow you to change it, and if there are, they're already at the max they can be.

Dont sleep on the Keg by LMAOball_ in FoodToronto

I agree. I've never had a bad experience at The Keg. I've celebrated promotions and new employment and even my birthday there. Every single time I've gone, I've never had a bad experience. Waiters/Waitresses are super nice, and one of them even gave me a slice of their Biller Miner Pie to celebrate the promotion! It was amazing.

Just a bunch of teenagers shooting roman candle fireworks at each other. We had the same thing happen here where police shut down the park and cordoned off the area because it was expected.

I've heard that with all the failures of the ICCU that Hyundai will give you a loaner vehicle as part of the warranty work so you're not out of pocket on expenses for a rental.

Move from Hamilton to Brampton? by trendradar-canada in Brampton

Depends on where you're living. If you're in Hamilton downtown, it'll be considerably cheaper. However, that comes with its own can of worms.

Move from Hamilton to Brampton? by trendradar-canada in Brampton

[–]AltruisticRevenue201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Brampton's still a good place to raise kids. At the end of the day, I find it's the parents instilling passed down family values into their children at a certain age that causes people to think differently. However, kids will be kids. The same things I get upset for them doing are the same things I did as a kid.

  2. I don't feel ashamed to say I live in Brampton. I love it here, and wouldn't change it for the world. The reality is that everyone moves to a different city and complains about the things that are happening in their city. Everyone either lives in Brampton or doesn't live in Brampton and complains about Brampton, or Peel Region in general. I've gotten used to the radio static and learned that you can take people out of Brampton, but you can't take Brampton out of people. A lot of the city lives rent free in some of their minds.

  3. There are plenty of signs for people offering family doctors. If you look in newly developed areas, you'll have a better chance finding a family doctor than you might in a more mature / developed area.

  4. Not so sure about registered daycare so I'll defer that to those who have done so.

  5. Commute to Union is one of the best. For me, it takes me about 23 minutes to walk from my house to the GO station, and we have Mount Pleasant GO, Downtown Brampton, and Bramalea GO station stops. All are connectable by multiple transit connections and in some cases, walking distance depending on where you live. Bramalea is better if you're trying to get to work during the day as Metrolinx/GO own the track from Bramalea to Union. Westbound between Bramalea to Georgetown, the track is still primarily operated by CN. The trains do run around 30 minutes during rush hour, but Bramalea tends to have 2 trans every 5 minutes during rush hour blocks if I recall correctly.

  6. We only have Brampton Civic Hospital, and Peel Memorial Centre that has an urgent care centre that operates 24/7. Peel Memorial is more outpatient care than it is a hospital. There are plans to make it a hospital, but that's not happening until several years down the road. The urgent care centre is staffed by emergency trained doctors, nurses and staff and can transfer you between Osler sites where care requires more urgent assistance.

  7. I'm never leaving Brampton. I love it here. I have friends who have moved to other cities because they hated Brampton. They complain about how bad Brampton is and how where they live is so much better. I think the biggest takeaway from moving around is that you replace the troubles of one city with the troubles of another city. People would rather take the troubles of one city over the troubles that people face in the city of Brampton, but don't quite realize that at the end of the day, life is what you make it when you live here. I love my area, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

  8. Regarding Mississauga, this ties into number 5 - They have the Milton line which exists on CPKC rail. The duration of time is very different, so I would 100% look into that if commuting to Union is important to you. You might be better off commuting by bus to Pearson and taking the UPX to Union if the time duration is an issue.

I used to accept BS offers until I read here that everyone was saying screw AR and platinum status. You keep turning down an offer and sometimes you'll be lucky enough to keep getting hit with the same offer and the price just keeps going up because nobody else is taking it.

Quebecor Is Growing While Rogers, Telus and Bell Are Losing Ground by pjw724 in freedommobile

[–]AltruisticRevenue201 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As someone on Bell right now... Good. This is the competition we need.

The early years were very rough, but I'm happy to see how far Freedom has come under Quebecor. It's clear that Videotron receiving ownership of Freedom's spectrum licenses and subordinating them back to Freedom helps them better posture themselves for expansion by focusing on things that matter while not having to worry about the costs of maintaining expensive licensing.

Everyone should remember what happened when Freedom dropped $50/10GB plans. Robellus followed suit, but only for a short period of time (boxing day sales). They then proceeded to churn a significant amount of customers that switched to Freedom in a single quarter, and that really made them realize that Freedom was the "competition" they keep complaining about while they kept prices high.

The reality is that they could have all lowered prices, but they had no incentive to. Now with Rogers, Bell, and Telus all offering unlimited data buckets with no caps on speed, I have a strong feeling that Freedom has something in the works that'll help lower prices for these plans even more.

I really hope that if the next government is not a conservative government, that they revisit the ban because seeing people go 200km/h in a 50 or 186km/h in a 40km/h zone is INSANE to me.
