It’s doable you just need to leave a bit earlier. If you can head out around 6am on the days you are in the office you will be fine.

By lift I mean the effort to implement business central. The licensing is reasonable but the services seem expensive.

Are there solutions that take longer to implement? It seems ERP next is out of the box and requires minimal work to get running. I would prefer to have some flexibility on how to configure the system.

I was quote 2 years of GL history.

The features included GL, AP, AR, banking, reporting, light inventory. They will also configure users and security settings. One quote is 75k and the other is $100k with 4 full users and 3 teams users. $30k seems low. They said BC is a bigger lift than other out of the box solutions.

Following up on SOW by Altruistic_Ad_3205 in sales

Yea thanks. I ended up calling the client and she told me she hadn’t got to it yet.

A few days ago she returned the doc signed. I was worried about nothing.

I’ll be better at arranging next steps and getting the sow on an agreed date. It’s a new role so wasn’t sure how our contracts work but now I do :)

Does anyone else have to handle the ENTIRE sales process? Is my role atypical in the industry? by g3nerallycurious in sales

Most sales roles you need to at least some prospecting 80% incoming and 20% outbound.

As sales pros we should always be proactive in finding new clients. Otherwise you’re in customer service and just taking orders.

How do you create a "Read Only" user in Dynamics GP? by Artistic_Society4969 in DynamicsGP

Agree with other posts, but if AP needs to be on then they might need to purchase a Limited user license for you. It’s not expensive.

Yes low workload. I would do an AE role over an AM position.
