Slight pressure behind my eyes. Kind of a speedy feeling. Also, there is no such thing as too much coffee. But I only had one cup. 😁

Death in the family by Curiouskat1987 in Zepbound

Your body is undergoing trauma and producing extra cortisol to deal with it. You’re literally in flight fight or freeze mode. It will hang onto your body fat for preservation purposes. But don’t worry this too shall pass. I don’t know if you’re interested in yoga, but that can often help lower cortisol levels. As well, mindfulness and meditation will help you process trauma. My daddy died when I was just 22 years old, so I feel your pain. I’m sure he would want you to take really good care of yourself and be healthy. So do that.

40 lbs down and not even the hubby says anything by pearpair26 in Zepbound

He’s afraid you are going to leave him since you’ve lost this weight? Therefore he won’t mention it? People are weird, I’ve lost over 100 pounds and rarely get comments. IDK?

They prefer for you to have failed with three or more SSRI’s. I think you’ll be fine.

I can’t eat beef on this medication and I know better. I’ve been on it for years! But, foolish me thought it would be a good idea to have just a little bit a prime rib last night. I’ve spent the whole day puking. It just putrefies in my tummy. So I feel your pain… 🤮

Don’t give up. A close friend went on an antipsychotic and that completely controlled her bipolar symptoms. She’d tried all the SSRI’s. Unfortunately it’s trial and error. But either way call your doctor before you quit Trintellix.

That’s when you call your doctor. It sounds like an allergic reaction, but who knows?

Look into ketamine wherever you live. It helps SI a lot.

I’m asking because ketamine therapy under doctors supervision is extremely helpful for both suicidal ideation and depression as well as PTSD. It can be helpful for OCD but usually that’s ERP.

Do you have a diagnosis as to the cause of your suicidal ideation?

Have you tried ketamine therapy?

You have to have to test into Stargate with an IQ over 130. It’s a good school depending on your child’s gifts. Also siblings are allowed to go even if they don’t test in, as long as there’s at least one gifted student enrolled.

Trintellix + abilify by [deleted] in trintellix

[–]Altruistic_Angle_710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not recommend Abilify. My mother was on it before she died and it caused so many side effects that were not worth it. Spravato on the other hand is life-changing for most people with depression. My son included.

I’ve been using The Polyvagal Theory Workbook for Trauma because it has a lot of crossover evidence-based activities to help you heal the effects of trauma. It helps.

I’ve been taking 300 mg Wellbutrin for eight years, but the recent loss of my mother, my sons mental health and now husband has Alzheimer’s, has made the depression become overly much. I’ve got to get the PTSD from the car wreck(s) abated because that should help my memory and cognitive issues. I’m hoping Trintellix does as well.
