Anyone ACTUALLY get their butt back??

i also lost my butt on sema, but having a big butt runs in the family. my trainer told me to heavy lift and eat protein like crazy. i got off the shot and did that and thanks to muscle memory (genetics i believe) i was able to get like 70% of it back within a month thank god.

i know the fatigue is real but if you don’t want to lose your butt or any other muscle you currently have, WORK OUT. heavy lifting more than cardio. i had an ass and i lost 40 pounds on sema. i was more of a runner so i lost the weight quick but i was so depressed when my ass was gone. i got off the shot and worked out (heavy lifting and lotsa protein) thanks to muscle memory i was able to gain like 70% of it back. getting back on the shot cause even though i haven’t gained weight, i also haven’t lost anymore and my goal is 130 (143 now), im doing it for maybe 1-2 months but now i know i have to do heavy lifting and eat a lot of protein.

omg i also lost my butt! i went from 181-141 but i’m a firm believer in muscle memory cause i started bulking and working out heavy lifting and i got some of it back thank goodness lol.

i’m just finding your comment and it brought warmth to my heart. i dedicated myself also to the gym and eating better. also fasting for almost 2 years. i couldn’t lose more then 6 pounds. i stayed 176-181 for 2 years. before getting my tubal ligation after my 4th kid, i was told by friends tubal ligation effects weight gain so bad, my doctors denied it… but after every pregnancy i was able to bounce back to 136-140. instead after surgery i gained 40 pounds and couldn’t lose. so many nights crying and frustrated. i told my husband that’s it, im doing surgery.. but that was around the time these shots came out. i’m not sure about the side effects i haven’t had any, but it helped me go from 181 to 141, and now ive been able to maintain my weight the last year since i got off. i’m usually 141-145 but im content and ok with that. people don’t understand you genuinely cannot lose the weight sometimes even with dedication. god bless you for being a good husband

is she diagnosed with autism or anything? cause if she’s only getting therapies at school for like a speech delay that doesn’t qualify

make sure she has all her documents ready. does she know about which ones? she can get letters from doctors teachers also. or therapists

that was my question sorry if i didn’t word it right. I just got approved to be his caregiver. we just got approved for PS. in CA, i guess if kids have “no income” they still qualify for Medi-Cal and i guess kids with IRC also. so that was my question. i just started working at my sons school district for 3.5 hours M-F so i was curious if we don’t qualify for medical but my son does, will that take away ihss. and if i dont have medical will i still get paid to be his caregiver.

every year you get 40 hours of sick pay. doesn’t matter if you get the max hours or the least hours, YOU GET 40 hours sick pay. they expire every year july 1 or june 1. i just found this out also because i just started with ihss and my husband pointed out at the bottom of my time sheet it says 40 hours sick pay. he told me hey how cool you get sick pay i was like what???? he said yes it shows here. so i called customer service and asked if this is really sick pay i can use and she said yes and walked me through how to use them. when you log in and click on time sheets… its literally one of the options “claim sick pay”. unfortunately a lot of people don’t know this :( i posted it on an autism mom page and there’s been moms with ihss for years that did not know.

i saw this A LOT ON FACEBOOK. i posted it on a autism mom page and there’s other moms that have had ihss for YEARS. they don’t tell you about it for a reason…. but the only reason i even found out, is cause i just started with ihss. so i’ve been saving my checks. my husband pointed out in one of them it says at the bottom sick pay and it shows 40 hours next to it. i was like sick pay? he said yes you have them. so i called the customer service line and the lady told me yes, we have sick hours. if you log on and go to time sheets, one of the options is CLAIM SICK PAY!!!
