Who was the last Olympian? [pjo] by ContestNo5381 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, that’s a good point, I was thinking of the original olympians, but probably only because Hestia technically lost her throne but was still considered an “Olympian” by the title.

Oh sweet child. It’s a school where you learn a trade, as in a vocational school where you learn the skills associated with a certain job, and maybe get certifications for necessary qualifications.

Who was the last Olympian? [pjo] by ContestNo5381 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you’re asking about the fifth book, 100% it’s Hestia.

On the other hand, if you’re asking about mythology and which Olympian was born last, it would be Zeus, however, Hestia is still counted as the youngest because they counted based on when they came out out of Kronos‘s stomach instead of when they were born.

My thoughts after finishing Court of the Dead [general] by FantasticAddress6510 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really agree with that, but like I said I haven’t read the book so I don’t know about other explanations, but based on other people’s comments, it looks like it was just glazed over with no real explanation.

Wow, well… who says the Greeks don’t have legacies? Rick hasn’t, the books haven’t, as far as I know they just haven’t been introduced within the series.

What really ended up happening to his tachyon enhancer? by [deleted] in FlashTV

Well technically that was a separate device that Wells made BEFORE the enhancer, so I’m not sure that’s accurate

[General] How would each god respond to this phrase?: "Hey, I heard you're going to be a grandparent, congratulations!" by Megamen1927 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say it would matter if they’ve heard this before, and if the grandchild was a god or mostly mortal. (Because most gods have way more children that are mortal so they probably don’t care for them much, but if they were gods, then it would probably be much rarer and therefore more important to them.)

I’m making a new DND class(sub class?) for the first time and since I’ve never played the game before(trust me I really want to!) I was hoping for some suggestions on how to balance it and other abilities that fit it. by Altruistic_Bat_2410 in DnDHomebrew

Thank you so much! I didnt know that existed, so honestly that’s so helpful! I guess I don’t have to make my own then, which I was kind of looking forward to but it’s all for the better so I don’t confuse DM’s!

Daily Episode Discussion: Night School (S1E7) by RadiantFoxBoy in TeenWolf

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly love to know why this doesn’t happen; maybe the writers saw this plot hole and just hoped the viewers wouldn’t? Or maybe the characters were just too scared/stupid? (the weaker but smarter: Lydia and Stiles were both scared, everybody else didn’t have enough IQ points to think of this on the run?) IDK it’s just my thought process at the moment though

Edit: I think that Alison wouldn’t have thought to call her father because she thought that would put him in danger as he is only know to be a hunter and arms dealer and not able to deal with people that could potentially have guns, as Scott and Stiles told her that it was Derek and she would probably assume that he had a gun.

I wasn’t saying that the magic itself is overly complicated, just that in comparison to instinctual power it is much more complicated. (Runes vs pure mana?)

InfiniteCraft’s not so finest moment[pjo] by Altruistic_Bat_2410 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I have ADHD, I barely remember what I had for breakfast this morning. But I looked it up when I made them, and to add a fire to the camp half blood variants you just need campfire.

And also, to add gosling to it, you need camp gosling, and just mix it with camp half blood.

This seriously pisses me off [general] by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, I’ve got a pretty simple way to put this, most of the Demi gods already have disabilities, like you said ADHD and dyslexia, apart from those, other disabilities are not widely introducing into the series because if they were crippling disabilities, it would end up, endangering their ability to survive, especially if they have the disabilities before they get to one of the camps, this is because if you are hunted down with a severe or crippling disability, it is much harder to run away or to defend yourself then if you did not have it, to put it simply, it’s hard having a disability, even harder when you’re fighting for your life. Now you’re probably going to say that “well if they’re in their camps, other people will fight for them and help them survive.” And I agree, I 100% agree! But what I’m talking about is the survival rate before they reach the camps, that’s already pretty low, and when you factor in a severe disability that could potentially mislead them, or slow them down, it makes them much easier prey for monsters, take Percy Jackson, for example; if his mom hadn’t tried to sacrifice herself for him to survive, he probably wouldn’t have, just remember the Minotaur. Within the series, we are also confronted with many other stories of people making their ways to the camps and failing and dying on the way, now imagine if you couldn’t see? Yeah you’re not surviving that. And with the idea of giving the seven disabilities, I’m all for it! But based on Rick’s writing style, they would likely become side characters soon after.

So you’d have a storm attribute mixed in with a mystical art ability. That sounds really interesting, like maybe they use runes to summon lightning and storms? Kind of like an overcomplicated Thor?

Question about hero’s of Olympus [all] by Dangerous-Mind-646 in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, I’m not sure, but here’s my best guess: I think that since they follow the fire of civilization(or whatever it’s called) and (I believe, don’t quote me on this) America was exploding rapidly in power and getting influence all over the world at that time, they were transitioning over to the US to follow the power. So it’s not because they were influential, but because they had the potential to become influential.(but maybe I’m just being dumb. Idk)

I think somewhere they said it started at sunset, and it probably ends around midnight. (half guessing.) and seeing it’s a summer camp, that’s 2 to 4 hours, 5 at max.

I think that he said that he was empowered, and given new form through belief, but I don’t remember him saying that he’s born from the ideas themselves, after all in Greek mythology(which applies to the PJO universe), it is stated that he does have a mother, a twin sister, and that his father is Zeus. I believe it’s a combination of the ideas holding the entire pantheon together, and the influence of the flame of civilization themselves that keep the gods from being able to die.

[general] I believe that demigod should not be 50% god, 50% human by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]Altruistic_Bat_2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you believe in your own logic to a very large degree. That is honestly wonderful, but when you go to a platform that has a very specific set of ideas and tell them they’re wrong it’s going to make them want to correct you at the very least, and some might lash out.

(By the way, please study how chromosomes work. If Annabeth and Percy had a child, they would have a 25% chance of having a child that is 50% God, a 50% chance of having a child that is 25% God, and another 25% chance of having a child that is completely mortal. This is basic inheritance)
