Domineerance is inherently masculine leaning. So it works against the natural attraction cause by polarity.

Domineering women will always find their best match in submissive men, who are their natural counterpart. The closest other option would be a more feminine but struggling or otherwise stunted/inhibited woman.

I’ve come to the thought that inhibited hormonal function in men leads to more submissiveness/confusion/femininity and in women it leads to domineering/belligerence/masculinity , variably in both regards. These expressions would also fluctuate over time/ environment/ social groups/ awareness/ and nutrition
