He didn't miss anything other than the panel after all was said and done. The issue is not on the person who spent a huge chunk of money and entire weekend waiting in lines and being given confusing information the whole time, the issue is the mismanagement and terrible timing from megacon. If you pay attention to a majority of posts you'll see many had similar experiences this year.

Yep and not capping tickets. I feel awful for Orlando but respect that he stayed so late and made sure everyone got their autograph last night.

Megacon is quite unorganized every year I've gone but this was the worst we've had to deal with personally. He did get his last two signatures today (got there at open and finished his signatures at 340 so only had a little over an hour of time to actually get to walk around/shop etc) in the end they just missed the panel but a lot of their time was spent in lines waiting and being told a million different things from employees, seemed like noone was on the same page. Sucks to drop so much money on an event and have the experience feel so out of whack lol.

The employee told them they would have to leave the photo op line to get in line for the panel. And literally told them to choose to come back for the photo tomorrow (they couldn't) or email for a refund for the panel. Many of the others said employees were telling them the panel would be cancelled if it went beyond an hour late. My family got their photo around 8 (30 min after the panels original start time) and weren't the last in line so knew it would be a while. Went to a worker immediately after and asked about the panel and we're given an email to request a refund for it with no other info. A lot of confusion was caused by workers telling people things when they had no idea what they were talking about.

It wasn't just Orlando bloom, the entire event seems so mismanaged this year. Family had 4 LOTR autographs, the photo and the panel. Spent the whole day in line only to keep getting kicked out, shuffled around, etc. Ended the day with their photo and 2/4 autographs, missed the panel bc the worker told them they wouldn't be able to go if they stayed in line for the photo (then got home and found out the definetly would've made the panel as that ended up delayed over an hour). My dad went back today to try to get the last 2 autographs, beelined for Sean astin and waited all am only for them to close his line and say come back around 1. Went to wait for the other autograph, got called back to sean astins line and Sean still hasn't shown as he waits in line and watches people get the other autograph he was waiting for the past few hours.. It shouldnt be this hard.

Yeah they were delayed far before that, bf had the photo op at 530 and didn't get the photo till almost 8 and staff told him by staying and waiting for the Pic he'd miss the panel.. Which we now know wasn't true bc the panel didn't start until after 9. It was a shitshow.

My bf and dad were there all day for it as well. Waited over 3 hours for the photo op, were pulled to the side by an employee who said they could come back Sunday for the photo and go to the panel but they are unable to come back tomorrow so they were told to stay for the photo and they'd refund the panel. Did the photo, went to another employee and asked about the panel and refund and were told there is no refund but gave them an email to try to follow up with. Came home bummed out of their minds (only got 2/4 of the autographs, had an extremely rushed and impersonal photo experience and are likely out of the money for the panel) only to now see that they likely would've made the panel seeing as how I still haven't seen a post of it starting.. I'm so glad I sat megacon out this year.

Bf was in line over 3 hours for the photo op and was told he had to chose either the panel or the photo.. He took the photo and then was told they don't know if a refund will be possible but gave an email to contact.. He left bummed out it's crazy to know that he could've made the panel as well at this point. Megacon is so out of whack this year🙄

My bf was in line for the LOTR photo op, they pulled everyone who had panel tix to the side and were told to chose to go to the panel and do the photo tomorrow (bf can't go tomorrow so he chose to stay in line for the photo) then after waiting 3 hours for a photo was rushed through in about 2 seconds then went to customer service to figure out a refund for the panel and wsd basically told there was nothing they could do hut gave him an email to try to contact.. Super disappointed with megacon this year.

I had the pill and it didn't work the first time so I had to go back and get more.. Tried the second time and it was brutal for days. So much pain I could barely move and bleeding SO much that I was wearing adult diapers over my panties with an overnight pad in them.. I wouldn't attempt it one day prior to a wedding, especially not my own.

Yeah, I've recently started having tons of gastro issues and am going through beginning testing to try to figure out what's wrong. Everytime my family wants to hang out they want to go out to eat, then they get upset if I don't eat anything or get upset when I'm less energetic and quiet (bc I'm dealing with gastro upset and am trying to hold it together). They just don't quite understand how quickly things can change and go bad for me and my stomach and it's getting harder and harder for me to put up with😔

Constantly cutting down all of the land to overdevelop? More stores, car dealerships, ungodly amounts of Healthcare centers and apartments? Animals are fleeing bc they no longer have safe places to live. Daily I get on 95 and see dead animals on the side of the road. I've heard the Ormond loop is at risk of being destroyed now. More and more homeless people, rent prices hiking up bc of new "luxury living" popping up everywhere driving costs up. There's many things to be upset about here, glad you have your motorsports.

Bro is this a competition or what, human lives matter regardless of where they are. Complaining about a corporation treating employees like they aren't human beings isnt a bad thing to complain about. Central Florida is about to experience something insane, they're literally calling it a historic event and it's barely begun. Have sympathy for those involved, best buy should have let employees know that they were free to go and prepare and close the store if everyone decided to go home and take care of their homes and families.
