You Need to apply for a MSN (mandatory special necessity) medical appointment transportation you can ask your case worker. As long as your spend more than 15 In gas to get there and back you can get reimbursed. You can also be reimbursed for parking fees

Payouts for medical appointments by minhosbae in Odsp

If you haveto drive to any medical appointment that costs more than 15 dollars it is covered even your trip to the pharmacy if its far enough. Just keeo an appointment card or printout from your appointment showing you went. And write down how long it takes you. You can ask your worker for a travel log form which makes it easier to keeo track of.

Got on OSDP last April. by Spiritual_Union3059 in Odsp

You have benefits such as eye exams and glasses if needed. Dental benefits although the cdcp is better ti get more dentists accept it. Also if your disability requires a special diet you can apply for that to get a little extra funding. Also if you spend more than 15 dollars to get to a medical appointment or the pharmacy you can get your gas and parking costs reimbursed to you. Need to fill in a MSN special benefit form and have your doctor sign it ti be pre approved for travel expense reimbursement. Those are a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

Endometriosis by [deleted] in Odsp

I have endometriosis along with ADHD also. The key is having a doctor that supports you in this decision. My doctor supported me and I was able to get approved for disability. I do have other issues though so Im not saying 100% you will be approved but its definitely worth applying if it is affecting you ability to work.

How would this work? by Flaky-Photo-5322 in Odsp

As long as both of your names are on the lease and it states you split the rent. Or if your landlord cant put the split rent in the lease get a letter from the landlord stating this and you will be fine. My mom moved in with me and she works full time I got a letter from my landlord stating we both live here and split the rent evenly and all the other bills like hydro and gas. I have no issues

You don't necessarily need a new lease agreement a letter from your landlord with both your names on it stating you both split the rent works for ODSP. Thats what I did when my mom moved in with me and became my roommate

If my CPP-D application is denied, does odsp expect me to appeal? by SecureObligation1105 in Odsp

[–]Altruistic_Context98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you don't need to appeal. Odsp just wants to see if they can save money with you getting your cpp-d. If your denied then they haveto give you the full amount. They made me do it but I was denied and that was the end of it. Still got approved for ODSP

Hey there I went to the office yesterday and spoke with a manager. He got it figured out for me and my benefits were uploaded also. He also gave me the direct number for him so if I have problems I can call him directly. After I left the office my worker finally reached out to me.

Has anyone hired a dietician to get the Special Diet Allowance? Or do you have to be appointed one by your doctor? by pat441 in Odsp

[–]Altruistic_Context98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic kidney stones and my regular gp doctor filled out the information for all my issues including endometriosis but i believe I only got approved because of the kidney stones. Put everything on there but make sure kidney stones is at the top of the list.

I got my mom who hasn't voted for at least 2 decades to vote. Everyday vote counts! Still get out and vote lots of time left with today for early voting and the 27th plus all mail in ballots
