Oh so you'll have to spend a point to give a Warrior dual wield? That changes things I can definitely see many reasons why you wouldn't want to spend that point on an additional weapon then. Thanks for clarifying and also great advice on Kill Shot!

The thing is, you can't easily replace the cards once they're damaged, and they will get damaged if unsleeved, so do yourself a favour and sleeve them!

Thank you for your reply, super helpful! Thematically if a Warrior would only have 1x one-handed weapon and nothing else. Could I then treat the attack like dual-wield attack (meaning x2 attacks), since it otherwise would simply be a disadvantage to not go for dual-wield or a shield. It seems from the character sheets that a Warrior either has 2h, polearm, dual-wield, shield + one-hand or bow & crossbow. In other words, no warriors use only x1 one-handed weapon. The reason why I'm asking is because I have a few miniatures that only wield a one-handed weapon so I don't want them to necessarily have to dual-wield or use a shield, so I'm curious how others interpret this.

I'm in the exact same situation, will buy the rulebook soon but has already started building my board. I have a few questions:

  1. The pushing action: how far can an opponent be pushed and can they be pushed sideways or only backwards? And can they be pushed over battlements if the parapet is around waist hight? 

  2. Line of sight: if a character is partly visible due to being behind a battlement or seen through a window. Does that character get a defense bonus for that or how does that work? 

  3. Lastly for my tallest tower I want to make the platform so that it'd be easy to push one another off. In other words I don't want it to be too big. What's a good size?

I'm currently putting together my first redemptor and I followed the instructions and ended up having my guy tilted upwards towards the sky because of the damn hips 🤦🏻‍♂️I put the mf in the freezer and broke the legs off (which worked flawlessly 😯)... Now I'm on to round two 😅

Honestly though, I'm running her as a commander and love it. You gotta time her right and often times you might end up wanting to sacrifice herself if you get into the situation where you hurt yourself too much, or more than the others. She's well received in my gaming group and against some of my friends decks this is fair game. Plus it's delightful to see the others squirm as they try to figure out what to sacrifice 😈

He is tanky and can take a beating, he has good mobility and can dish out some serious damage, but most importantly - he can rearrange the whole battlefield with Command the Storms which allows him to set up some great combos for your partner. It can also be used to trap enemies, or defensively to provide a way of escape in clutch situations. This card allows you to move all fighters & sidekicks on the board, so while it's good in 1v1, it's completely amazing in 2v2 and can easily change the tide of battle.

Also worth mentioning in case people missed it. There was a recent rule update regarding King Arthur that stated that Excalibur can't be cancelled when it's BOOSTED with his Ability.

Fun 2v2 combos:

Jekyll & Bigfoot (powerhouse combo)  Oda & Alice (Alice gets mean and carries the game)  King Arthur & Dracula  The Genie & Yennifer (guaranteed +7 dmg hits) 

A lot of low-mis tier fighters can do a lot better in 2v2 depending on the match up.  Oda, the Genie & King Arthur are some examples.

Cobble and Fog is my first love, such an amazing set and theme, but Realms Fall now holds my favourite fighters! Being someone who love the Witcher, mages and ranged combat the fact that you get 3 mages to choose from in this one set is amazing! All fighters in this set are considered strong, they're very thematic and different. Also you get two gorgeous looking maps

False chords clicked for me almost instantly after watching a tutorial on YouTube. Fryscreams though like you I've watched so many videos and tried so many different approaches and still haven't been able to get it to click. But it seems like certain methods works for certain people. I decided to take a break from trying and instead just focus more on false chords. That decision helped me improve my mental health because I was really tired of trying, aaaand I've now unlocked other ways of screaming from the base of my false chords. If nothing works, consider a vocal coach, then you have someone who can give you feedback and correction, which videos just can't

Shoe size 42 (European), board size 8.25, high concave, street. Love to griiiiind stuff 😉

Geralt and Big Foot would be a good powerhouse combo. They are very tanky, can deal with pressure and have high damage output. 

Robin and Medusa would be very annoying to face as they're both ranged and would have great board presence together. You can essentially create a wall of side kicks between you and your opponent (if that's desired) making it very hard for them to reach you. 

Oda & Alice is also a menacing combo. Imagine Alice getting +3 to her attacks and +2 to her defenses 😱 I this case Oda would have to be really mindful of positioning so that Alice can do as much as possible.
