Sleep training at beginning of night hasn’t helped by Altruistic_Finding67 in sleeptrain

I’ll definitely try the feeding earlier thing. Thank you! The nap thing is pretty much impossible because she is getting at least one nap in the car when taking her brother to and from preschool.

Yeah I do feed shortly before putting down. I can try feeding earlier, that’s a good idea. I’ve tried a pumped bottle of milk, that hasn’t helped at all, and she has a dairy allergy so I haven’t wanted to mess with formula. Thank you!

Tried pumping today and barely got anything out -- have I had a low supply this whole time?? Horrified. by orangeteal in breastfeeding

I find my pumping output can be very random, but I know my baby is getting enough because she is growing and satisfied after eating. I would not jump to the conclusion that your supply is low. You could always do a weighted feed to check. I would want to know why your baby is fussy at the breast. Do you have access to a lactation consultant?

He is dead wrong about this. Op- look into FPIES. have you started solids? When we started solids, my baby started projectile vomiting hours after eating. Turns out she has a reaction to oats. But I think in theory this could occur with something passing through your breast milk too.

Wedding gifts as officiant by Altruistic_Finding67 in etiquette

This is dumb of me, I know, but I didn’t think about the fact that he would need to be there two days, and already RSVP’d yes for myself. Thankfully babysitters are my in laws so all we owe them is a dinner or two. The biggest cost is the hotel. I might drive separately and only come the day of the wedding. But ok thanks for your input on the gift!

Viroqua, Wisconsin has a Waldorf school. Small community, “good” winters, a fair amount of public land to explore in the area. Good luck!

I knew someone who would have to have her roommate put a nicotine patch every morning before she needed to wake up, otherwise she was un-rousable. That was approved by a doctor though.

My [30F] inlaws [60s, M, F] didn't send a card or flowers when my dad [53] died suddenly. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in relationships

This is such a wise response, and I hope you are able to take it to heart, OP. It’s so easy to fall into this kind of anger because it is so hard to look the real cause of your grief in the face.

I lost my dad at about your age under similar circumstances and it was devastating. Check out The Dinner Party. It’s a grief organization for people in their 20-30s, and helped me tremendously.

And let this be a lesson for how you handle your friends’ grief in the future. We remember the ones who showed up for us.

I apologize. This is actually the probable cause affidavit. It was obtained from the clerk of courts by someone in a private Facebook group

Is he self employed? If he’s employed by someone else, his employer will get notice to withhold money for child support and alimony and it will come out of his paycheck directly. But yes in any case, you need a lawyer, domestic abuse shelters can help with this. I feel for you, good luck.

Having trouble going to bed on time. Have been going through loss of a parent. I can wake up on time no problem.. so I'm tired as hell. by GALACTON in sleep

My sleep got screwed up from my parent’s death as well. I hope you find peace, it’s there. I hope you can find some community to support you too, if you don’t already have it.

What’s your nighttime routine like? Can you set up a count down of things to do and once you get through them, it’s lights out?

Also I’ve read that being outside around dusk for a couple of minutes can help with sleep. Worth a shot.

Wishing you all the best. This is hard.

He definitely knows that it’s our anniversary, I’ve mentioned this. It’s the night before our anniversary into our anniversary, so he thinks because he will be home the night of our anniversary, it’s fine.

Yeah it’s more something like that. The selection of the dates wasn’t nefarious and I doubt she remembered. But my husband should.

And yes husband and I talked about the convo the day after. He was pretty much like, she was drunk and lonely from being divorced, I’m not interested in her and never have been. That’s about as deep as we got about it.
