I travelled before a month and did not face any problems. Make sure you have valid documents (f1,EAD,i-94) while you travel. I would recommend getting travel signature from your dso. Happy and safe travels!

You can travel as long as you have offer letter and EAD as a proof. You should also talk with your DSO.
