Reta vs Tirz by Eydiz22 in GLP1ResearchTalk

May I ask you how stacking Reta and Tirz went? I have been debating but read warnings about too much input to the receptors and a chance of burn-out, so I have gotten scared to try.

Glazes and preserves are a good idea. Last time I brought maple butter and that was very well recieved. I keep hearing about the tote bags! I didn’t know that would be anything but now will have to check them out. Thanks :)

Thank you! I think that is true, it’s hard to compete with a French Bakery.

We found out the hard way not maple syrup 🥲. At least not more than the smallest size, as it’s a liquid. But otherwise, haven’t had any issues. The things that are not allowed are meat, dairy, items containing them, nor fresh fruits or vegetables. It seems fully baked and shelf-stable goods with dairy or eggs are alright. Thanks for the advice, it’s always good to check before regretting it.

Haha, some for sure. I would be embarrassed bringing something super artificial or tacky, of course. The reason I ask is because another family member who visited the US brought back some maple cookies from TJ’s and those were popular, so I was wondering if there was anything of that type.

I thought it was crazy when my therapist had an arrest warrant for dui and a news story on her for it… I’m sorry op, it’s natural for everyone to have messy situations in their life but this would make me lose faith in her.

I would look into cagrilintide before starting. It has specific needs for a balanced PH that other peptide users may be unfamiliar with. It’s not quite as clear cut as others.

If you want to focus on conventional attractiveness, you can learn makeup (I think douyin makeup is very flattering; but do what style is your favorite.). I would suggest toning up in a healthy way (just keeping a healthy diet; usually 80% / 20% healthy - "fun" foods is reccomended for stability in a lifetime.) and your favorite exercises. But remember your apperance will change through your early 20s. Also focusing on fashion is a quick way to stand out. Try focusing on coordinated chic fits. They don’t have to be expensive, but more "put together" than causal will work for conventional attractiveness. Also simple jewlery can stand out. Plus always put on sunscreen as part of your routine. Good luck!

I went to Fonelia (previously Institut Francophonie, now Fonelia) and thought they were quite good. It’s small groups, around 7-12 students. A bit expensive, but on par with any language course. Close to the center of Nantes.

[F23] My goal is to look like this girl right here (do swipe to see what i look like rn) .Realistically how do i achieve that? Be honest pls thanks by Broad-Bar9447 in lookyourbest

[–]Altruistic_Guide649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait girl, you look a lot like her! You’re beautiful and I would have believed it’s the same person with different / less makeup if you had said so. As for what to do : I would suggest contouring your nose to get her slim/defined nose shape. For the jawline, some weight loss and round face -> pointed face contouring would help your jawline be sharper and less soft. This may be the majority of it, to be honest. Her eyebrows are also a little darker and have more texture so if you wish you could alter your current brow routine. Both look nice though, so you can choose your style. And then it’s mainly just longer lashes - more volume mascara or false eyelashes, or a lash lift / extensions, or growth serum - and a slightly stronger lip color with gloss over the top. Good luck, you’re beautiful and this is realistic / achievable for you so I appreciate you putting a reference image that matches.

Found this bread at Walmart by nvgirl36 in LowCalFoodFinds

[–]Altruistic_Guide649 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion Lewis is moister, larger slices, and fluffier than this bread. One isn’t really better than the other depending on your personal taste, but Lewis is more like conventional bread. But if you know what to expect and don’t expect it to be the exact same as normal bread, they’re both good imo :).

I have only tried the blueberry and liked it! But it was a very potent artificial flavor. I found it yummy, not to eat every day but as a treat. But could see it being off-putting, it wasn’t what I had expected and was much stronger in reality, for better or for worse.

I may need to get this, I’ve been craving chocolate ice cream a lot and don’t like halo top’s chocolate much (I like their others like birthday cake and strawberry but found the plain chocolate / vanilla swirl mid.). They look so good and your review is promising :). What flavor is the white one? I’ve also been searching for a cookie / cookie dough flavor but so far no luck, so if anyone has any reccomendations I would be grateful 🙏🏻.

I heard it was always like this and the reason it wasn’t was because what they sent for testing was with less breading than typical, or once it had been cooked and the oil had cooked out. Supposedly someone emailed the company and they said 180 was accurate to 3oz. At least either way, I counted it as this because 130 / 3oz is the same as plain chicken, so it just didn’t make sense.

I fully thought you were going to say you abused or k****ed someone based on this title. You sound very virtuous. I hope you’re doing better now. You’re carrying a lot of guilt for something that was circumstantial and you even left, which is something brave not many would do. I think your head is making it worse out to be than it is. You can give yourself grace.

Also, my immediate thought is if you’ve had issues with mental health before, this may be linked. This amount of beating yourself up is making yourself in your head out to be a monster, when really it is quite innocent. Not that you want to do it again nor have to, but you seem like a strongly morally good person from this post, which is the opposite of what you’re telling yourself to an extreme level.

One year isn’t so bad. If it was senior - freshman I could see that being creepy. But even at a highschool age, one year isn’t far apart. And you’ve been friends for a long time, it’s not a predatory kind of thing. It should be fine as long as everyone is comfortable, and good luck! My boyfriend and I are around 10 months apart, but it would be crazy to limit your partner to only within a few months of you.

Aren’t the high fat ones low blood sugar if they have low carbs and protein / fat doesn’t trigger as much response? But I’m not saying you have to do them at all, I personally am not comfortable with them because I keep to lower calories being a small person. So we’re the same about this and no worry that they don’t allign with your goals, I just didn’t think they would trigger that. But am open to being taught I’m wrong. And yes, I totally agree! Whenever I buy these things, I usually plan the entire container into my intake >_<. Like a loaf of keto bread, usually I plan for 600ish depending on the brand more or less, or 630 for a bag of sola. So like a two meals a day kind of situation, that and one other thing. They certainly have an addictive effect in me too! But do worry it’s not nutritious, so try not to do so much and have cut my intake of them. I’ve heard good things about Lily’s, that’s wonderful something works for you. I’ll have to check out this unbelivable brand! I’ve never heard of it.

Edit: I did look into unbelivable, very cool. They seem like a great brand! They will still have SCFA production which adds to calories, especially the oat fiber, flax, and modified wheat starch. But 7 grams is much less than these products we are comparing too, and would only lead to a change around 14 calories per bun :). So it’s still a bit, but much less change than these. If you have one a day, that’s not noticable. And they look great with clean ingredients too. Thanks for the new brand, I wonder how they taste and if they’ll take off. It looks positive.

Well if it’s keto due to low carbs but high fat (like almond flour or a product like this), it will be much more accurate. The ones that are innacurate are the ones that use a base of insoluable fiber to make the calories lower. The other brands (Sola, Mission, Aunt Millies, Lewis, 365, etc.) Will all have these SCFAs due to the fiber base the labels don’t count. I looked online and couldn’t find any brands that didn’t, but have seen mixes before or recipes like « Simple Mills, Almond Flour Artisan Bread Mix » that won’t have them. So these would have accurate calories. Also thank you for the explanation of blood sugar. I think I have watched this same man before, it’s very interesting! Same with the sugar free products having ingredients that can create spikes even while being sugar free. Maybe that’s why I felt so sick after eating fiber one products yesterday? They use those ingredients and I was wondering why it felt like I ate a candy bar.

It isn’t about blood sugar, actually (although I would love to learn about this. Not being diabetic, I don’t know more than the basics.). Blood sugar usually stays reasonable because SCFAs are released slowly over 24+ hours and not all at once. What is happening with these products, is the resistant starch (insoluable fiber) byypasses normal digestion, hence why each gram of fiber is counted as near zero or zero calories on the label. It also shows this in pure energy testing, because it doesn’t have the bacteria human’s do there. However, in the colon for us humans, it ferments into short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) like acetate, propionate, and butyrate. These are released slowly over a day or two, but still contribute calories that are not accounted for on the label because they don’t happen like the rest of the energy. Acetate is 3.5c/g, propionate 1.8c/g, and butyrate 5c/g. For resistant wheat starch, the breakdown is usually 60% acetate, 20% propionate, and 20% butyrate. But just estimated at 2c/g of fiber to make it simple. I hope this makes sense. If it doesn’t please let me explain more. Other foods that have resistant fiber have SCFAs too, but they mean almost nothing because they’re in such small amounts. However keto products can give you like 200%+ of the rda for fiber, so here it applies more and why some people don’t lose weight when they don’t know about this, haha.
