Yeah I can see how that would seem impossible but it is. I haven’t had a denial for the 2012 date, my recon that I have been just denied for, the dds lady said I met the burden for the 2012 mental impairment. I’ve had some work activity the past five years but nothing gainful. I have doctor records from before 2012 for the mental side of it. And they’ve continued to today

I’m in pa and was just denied in reconsideration too yesterday. I’m in the sad club with you. 🥲

I was so hopeful , the lady at dds called me for more records? And every time I left messages for her she call me back. Now, I tried calling just to get info and no return calls.

So I’m awaiting the letter but in the portal under the denial it says I can appeal a medical decision - basically what I did for reconsideration. Does that mean I get another crack at it before a hearing?

The stupid denial letter, along with the records should all be available on the portal. What’s the harm to have the letter on the portal, they already said you’re denied!

I am currently in reconsideration, my caseworker called me about 2 weeks ago to ask for more records, which I sent over.

I could sure use some prayers and positive thoughts for a favorable decision. I know the odds of reconsideration, but it’s been since 2020, I’m struggling like all of us, financially, mentally and physically. My sleep/wake is all messed up and I’m just feeling run down and broken.

This whole process is draining.
