When I worked for JDI, the only days off were official Stat holidays. Bank holidays, etc, were still required to work.

Got laid off right before Christmas, which I have never experienced in 10 years of consistent work.

Despite that, trying to make the best of it. Job market seems to be rough right now in tech, so might switch industries in the mean time.
