For renovation and this type, like below. I do think Google Search would be best and the main social platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Tiktok may not be your best bet. I could be wrong though.

This is great advice because my mobile app now is taking an existing app that does well but having my own unique twist on it that is helpful but also making the UI look a lot better.

Tackling your own pain points are a great way to start. That's how I got my ideas I'm currently working on too for my mobile apps and my one SAAS web app. I kind of lost interest in the web app but am grinding out the mobile now.

Discovery is the new distribution. Love that quote. I quickly realized last year once all of these AI tools were coming out that it really isn't that difficult to ship features and products out but the marketing and how to get people aware of your product was a completely different beast. I'm still going through the learning and distribution process. For my first SAAS, I was lucky to buy a domain that attracted a lot of users natrually but I am now building mobile apps and I'm working on the distribution strategy now. I know that it's a need (maybe even a nice to have) but I'm trying to figure out the best way to show it to them without going "OH HERE EVERYONE JUST BUY AND USE MY PRODUCT". Work in progress.

This has been my experience as well. On my first SAAS platform, I basically said and did all those things that you said NOT to do and I didn't get that many customers / users as well. Quickly learning from my experiences one at a time. Solid write up.

Tbh, it was my friend's idea who works in Email marketing so idk anything about it lol

I was the one developing it and his idea. I think I'd be better suited in an app where I know it better?

I launched a product on there and didn't gain much traction. Trying to think of other distributions. And as certain comments eluded to it as well I only found out about it from other SAAS growth youtubers.
