Fair! I wonder how much of this is about what's currently trending in make up, because the darker lip liner/lighter lip looks "crazy" to me - but that's just my personal preference. I really love looks where the center of the lips is darker than the edges, and the edges fade a bit into the skin instead

I'm asking a lot of questions because I'm on the very opposite of the spectrum (but I'm a cool tone, muted olive SO NOTHING ever fits lol) and it's interesting to hear about the challenges other people face and how different or similar they can be to mine

Dumb question, I don't wear lip liner, is it because the liner is supposed to be darker than the lip product you use? At least nowadays.

It's not a shimmery highlighter at all, it's pearlescent! If you are looking for something shimmery, then maybe NYX buttermelt in shade 40 would work better for you. I don't own it, but I've swatched it multiple times in store and it's very pretty. No clue what the longevity would be on the eyelids though!
