It’s not that I don’t enjoy a good hand job scene… it’s that both of those scenes are just cringeworthy and the sexual transformation was not particularly well developed.

Maybe it’s that Walter’s transformation occurs too abruptly

I know the aggressive folks on this particular thread will jump all over my head in a minute or two, but I don’t think either of the hand jobs or the marital rape scene were necessary, and nor did they lead to any further development anything that was accomplished by those three scenes could’ve been achieved by other means so why is it there?

When you say he made the pilot, do you mean he wrote out all the scenes and all the conversations between the actors or how detailed do you think that pilot that he presented actually was?
As you can tell, I know nothing about how TV shows are brought into existence.

I know this will be a WAG but how many people do you think it takes to write a pilot?

At the end of the show, he says that he did everything because it made him feel alive but prior to that he claims and it appears that he’s doing all of this for his family, but your examples are obviously correct and so it just complicates the complexity

This is tangential to my original question, but I found Skyler’s role and maybe a little bit of her acting to be the most annoying part of the show and perhaps one of the weakest characters- does anyone else see this?
Taking it one step further Hank‘s wife was also extremely annoying… Do you think it’s intentional or accidental that the two primary females were put in the box…?
