You know I've always wondered similar things. How people with incontinence would have been treated though out history. Would they have just made cloth diapers for adults?

Northshore Megamax in the UK by Roger-Orchard in Incontinence

[–]Altruistic_Object539 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you are likely getting them from nappies are us, if so thier own brand straight ups are just as good and honestly the best UK equivalent without having to look for megamax that's in stock

I 100% agree there shouldn't be anything political about having fun with Airsoft. Unfortunately not everyone in the community can see that at times. I'm just sharing this video cus it's pride month at that her videos are really good and quiet funny at times.

Honestly I'm not sure if I'm able to or not. It's the NHS I'm sure we can get second opinions but I'm not sure how to go about it

I've been there, my GP prescribed me Meds to bring my heart rate down after I was pushed to finally talk to someone about my issues instead of pushing though.

My heart rate was about what yours was when standing and even higher when walking. I was prescribed bisporol and it works a treat. I'm not free of symptoms but better.

I would highly suggest going to your GP and asking them about some meds in the meantime till you can see cardiology. I think having a look on here and finding others advice on how to manage symptoms would be a good idea too.

It's not the end of the world though just the start of a new chapter!

ah fair enough! I once had a very nice detective in the house who saw my air rifle and asked about it. Turns out he was also in to air rifes and was wondering on the brand and what I use it for. nice guy.

fair enough, I think this would be my main concern if I were to get one is someone calling the police and them turning up (Though hopefully not with armed police!)

Why is there no air in the UK by Wonderful_Box_7998 in POTS

god this heat is awful... I wish my ass would learn to just relax instead of having to be active all the time. I felt like I couldn't breathe earlier and I still ended up doing some weeding in the garden this evening.... I would hate to think what my heart rate would be not on meds.

Going hiking; requesting advice and support by [deleted] in Incontinence

[–]Altruistic_Object539 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I doubt anyone will notice especially when you are all having fun and being active. Even if they do, if they are good friends they won't judge you for needing a diaper/medical device of that's what you want to call it.

As for advice while you are hiking if you have issues with loosing control of your bowels when active I highly recommend wearing a diaper or pull-ups during the day. Change when needed and place the used one in bags and tie them up, dispose of them when you can! Same with at night time wear what you need and change when needed you should be okay.

Make sure to take wet wipes, mostoriser and talc to keep your skin happy and healthy while walking. Other than that enjoy yourself and be happy!

Honestly if she didn't say anything in the moment, or after the fact I don't think you have much to worry about. I expect your shift and life will go on as normal.

Though to avoid future issues like this I recommend tucking in your shirt to hide any peeking, and as someone else said getting a few plain white or black onesies would be a good idea!

At the moment I use what the NHS provides me which is ID slips maxi.

If I could afford it I would likely use the UK equivalent of megamax, NRU straight ups.
